So today I wrote the provincial competition and I am so scared! The results, of course. Why? I think I should tell the whole story. Well, it's probably quite interesting, but if you don't want to, you don't have to read it. I don't even know why I'm writing it here, but let's start with a million words about nothing.

The contest is in Russian. The first stage is the school one. I went to a school about 3 kilometers away from mine (I don't know about that, but let's assume it is). I have never been to this school. Luckily, my mom was giving me away because I would have been lost for sure. I go to a private, small school and in big schools I am afraid to lose my way. Oh God, what a sucker that sounded like. I'm boring, right?Anyway, there were a lot of kids there (I mentioned that I go to a private school? I guess so, so you also have to know that we have less than 200 people in the whole school). and they all screamed. Secondly, they have a bell (there is one in my school but it is broken and doesn't ring) which is so loud that you can't imagine. Finally a lady came and took our cards signed by the school management and a little later she gave us the competitions. I have no objections to the contest. It was fine, except that the correct answers in tasks a, b, c, you had to mark x. Mhm...Guess who marked the circle? Sure, I did. I preferred not to say this for that lady, because she told us about it a few minutes before the contest. Oops...It's hard. I finished the contest after 50 minutes (we had 120 minutes to write and at first I thought I missed some XD card). After I checked it probably 10 times, I started looking around. One girl from my school and two people from the school where we were writing were writing. A boy and a girl. Yes, you hear well, we only wrote the four of us. So yeah, you know (thank you for reading this at all) how the competition passed, but now I'll tell you (hopefully) a shorter story why this competition is so important.

Apart from the fact that I will have a choice of high school (you know what I mean?), Russian itself is quite important to me. My whole family except me and my young brother comes from Belarus (yes, I am the first child in my family, born in Poland). My first language was Polish, yes it is true, but when my parents left for a while, my aunt (the mother of my best friend and cousins) took care of me. When my parents came back, I could speak Russian. Not perfect, but I was able to say at least a few sentences, and for a child this is progress. I had to be able to speak Russian to communicate with my family. I have a good accent and can speak fluently. But writing...I will not lie. I'm not doing well. I can read, but writing is so average. Well, a month ago I started learning Russian Cyrillic. I think this competition should go well for me. That is what I would like to say. Thank you for listening! I would like to invite you very much to my book "Her". How was your day? Write to me! Now I'm sorry, but I'm publishing it quickly and I have to go learn geography and English. Bye! 💚
