Scrooge x Goldie (part 2)

Without POV

"Damn" said Webby, looking through something on the phone.

"Webby" surprised Huey, and Dewey was walled up. "Since when do you curse?"

"It's not even a curse," he said for her, Louie.

"Okay, never mind." Huey turned his eyes over. "But Webby's so...hmm...clean. What is it?"

"Oh," Webby sighed. "It's just that Scrooge's going on a trip with Goldie."

"Whoa," said Dewey, "Wedding Month?"

Everybody looked at him, and he was ashamed.

"Anyway," Webby continued, "They're going with her and us!"

"Are we going to travel with Scrooge and Goldie?!" asked Louie, "I'm going to pack up!"

Everyone was looking at him.

"Doofus' party" explained Louie, "We've known each other a bit."

"But why are you interested in this, Webby?" asked Dewey.

"Uh, Goldie is Scrooge's ex-girlfriend. I want to impress her," she said shyly.

"Little chance" thought Louie, but didn't say anything.

Suddenly Scrooge and Goldie came down the stairs.

"Sharpie!" shouted Goldie out, coming up to Louie.

Louie POV

"Sharpie!" screamed Goldie, then came up to me and picked me up.

"Goldie!" I called. "Are you here to return the gold?"

"Come on!" Goldie laughed, "We've got a lot of adventures in the Yukon. There's a gold rush, I'm sure you'll find something too."

I was sure you would. I was gonna do a good job in the Yukon when Scrooge suddenly said:

"It's just the two of us going, Goldie."

Everyone was moaning.

"Why?" she asked Goldie outraged.

"Cause I'm sick and tired of these "oooh" people, and seriously, Goldie? I know you just want more people to lie to." Scrooge turned his eyes over.

"Oh, no, no, no," said Webby. I've never heard her say anything against Scrooge for "We're coming with you, period."

"The pink bow is right," Goldie said with a smile. "Besides, I'm not going to lie to anybody."

Webby POV

Nobody but Lena, never called me a "pink bow"! I was so excited, I didn't even think about what I just said to Scrooge.

"Okay, we're all going," said Scrooge, turning around. Something tells me he likes Goldie! He wanted to be alone with her! But it wasn't my idea, remember!"

Huey, Dewey and Louie ran off to pack. I walked away, watching Goldie stand next to Scrooge with a malicious smile. They were a match. They really fit together! I went into my room. I packed quickly, because I haven't packed my backpack from a previous adventure yet. It wasn't clear when we were going to be there, so I packed a lot of things. My backpack is much more spacious than you might think. After packing, I went to see if there was anything I could do for Huey or Dewey or Louie.

"Knock, knock," I knocked on the door.

"Come in," said Dewey, opening the door for me. Huey was packing his spare red hats, Dewey went back to packing his shirts, and Louie was running around the room picking up all kinds of stuff and stuffing it in a bigger backpack than he usually takes.

"Louie! Why do you need so many things?" I asked.

"Everything you need," he replied, packing a huge bag.

"If so, why do you need that bag?" I asked.

"For money," he said, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "We've never gone somewhere where there's a gold rush, is that not cool?!"

Louie was much more energetic than usual. Apparently he wouldn't mind a new Aunt Goldie either...

Goldie POV

"Oh, come on, Scrooge, it's gonna be fun." I tried to convince him, although I wasn't sure what I said. "What's their name, anyway?"

"Oh," sighed Scrooge, looking at some papers. "Red is Huey, blue is Dewey, green is, you know, Louie, but you still call him Sharpie, so it makes no difference, and the girl in the pink bow is Webby."

"I'll probably remember them soon enough," I said, "and Scrooge turned his eyes.

"If you think so..." ...he's gone. At that point, I thought he was sweet. Oh, no, no, no, no. Goldie O'Glit no! Do I like Scrooge? Just thinking about his honest money-making, going on adventures and boring lessons... I got butterflies in my belly. OH, NO! It used to make me shudder! What has changed? I mean, did Scrooge ignore me now? I guess so. He never did. It...it impressed me.
