*Picture of Blue*

"You need another transfusion, Blue." Cody informed him, jotting up a few more things in the curly haired boy's chart, while taking his temperature for the millionth time that week.

"I thought I was done with all this, Cody; what changed?" Blue sighed, his mind recalling every moment he has had to spend in that frustrating place people called a hospital.

"You are doing better, Blue, but some things are unexplainable. Dr. Paul will break it all down for you when he comes by. For now, you're free to relax." The nurse smiled, handing Blue the remote to the TV, and closing the door to his room.

This wasn't out of the ordinary for someone battling leukemia, especially since he's been fighting it for close to two years, now. As a regular at Salut Hospital, Blue Daniels had his own personal nurse, doctor, and even slowly became the welcoming party for newcomers in the ward.

Yvette was the first person he had met at Salut, when he had first found out about it. Yvette had become his best friend, teaching him the ropes around the place, pranking the nurses together, and making friends with every person they had met. Until the day had come where she was released, which had been about two months into Blue's first visit, and had eventually moved on with her life, only visiting once or twice a year.

Skylar, the second person he had met, was in the room beside his, came in about a week after Yvette had gotten healthy, but was also released within the year. Likewise, many others had come and gone, but Blue was there for the long haul, wondering when he would get a chance at adventure.

"How's my favorite patient?" Dr. Paul's voice startled the boy. Sitting up, and turning the TV off, he realized he hadn't really been interested in what was on, to begin with.

"Dude, I wanna feel better and experience something fun!" Blue huffed in exasperation.

"Didn't you TP the nurses' bathroom an hour ago with Valerie from down the hall?" Dr. Paul titled his head, a chuckle being heard, as he spoke.

"I do that daily, though; I need something new to do. I'm getting bored. All the nurses have come to expect my stunts. At least hire someone new that won't see any of it coming." Blue rolled his eyes, as he crossed his arms by his chest.

"We do have a new nurse, actually, but he's by the kids' ward, and you're supposedly an adult, Blue." Dr. Paul laughed, seeing the frustration in his patient's face. "I'm sorry."

"Maybe I'll pay Riley a visit, then." Blue pursed his lips, already thinking of a new prank he could scare the new guy with.

"Just don't make him quit; he needs this and we need him." Dr. Paul begged, remembering the time Fernando and Blue got together to prank Clay, to the point of him wanting to quit, as they put a bunch of crickets in his backpack.

"You'll never let me live down something that happened close to two years ago?"

"Sorry, dude, but that almost cost me a great nurse."

"But it didn't..." Blue laughed, watching as Clay walked by the moment he said that.

"What about Bla-"

"Blake was transphobic, so that's not my fault that I wanted him gone, doc."

"Shanley?"

"Homophobic and transphobic."

"Wasn't she gay?"

"I don't know what she was, but she called me a woman with issues, when she found out that I transitioned, so I had to put those bugs in her locker."

"Well done." Doctor Paul laughed, before getting serious, and picking up Blue's chart.

"Oh, also, before you think of naming Lianne, she's about as racist as they come."

Dr. Paul began explaining about the ups and downs to what he's been going through, asking how he was feeling when Blue began to doze off, his medicine making him drowsy.

Though Blue Daniels enjoyed the pranking and messing with everyone around him, he was actually the best kind of person to have on your side. He constantly bent over backwards for his loved ones, while always lending a hand to random people he only just met, or didn't know at all.

He was kind, friendly, smart, and funny, but was constantly worried about how much longer he had.
