They could feel their heart swell up in utter happiness, seeing a smiling Blue with his head against Levi's chest. Riley had woken up early, dreading the meeting they had with Dr. Paul within the hour. They heard a whisper calling their name, causing them to turn their heads towards the door.

"Riley, get over here." Alex's whisper was more of a shout, as she called her friend over towards the door.

Sighing in both frustration and exhaustion, the seventeen year old got up from the couch, and made their way towards the curly haired brunette.

"What's so dire, Lex? I'm so tired," They greeted the younger girl, her hair twirling the ends of her hair.

"First off, update me on Blue and sexy nurse, and secondly, when do you find out?" She chuckled, earning her an eye roll from the green haired kid.

"Dude, seriously?" They shook their head, looking at the sleeping boys on the couch, practically holding on to one another for dear life. "They have a history, and it may be a future, too, Lex. Also, Teddy is supposed to come get me within the hour, and I am terrified."

"Well, they're cute together; although, I kinda called dibs on him a while ago," Alex laughed a bit too loudly, almost waking up the sleeping boys.

"Called dibs on who? They're both gay." Riley chuckled, taking a seat on the bench by the hallway.

"Why can't hot guys be straight?" Alex pouted, childishly.

"Dude, it's 2020; no one is het." They laughed a little louder than before, thanking her mentally for calming their nerves.

"Anyway, Jace is stopping by today. You wanna maybe hang out later? You, me, Jace, Valerie, and maybe Blue and Levi?" The brunette suggested, counting on her fingers, as she named them off.

"You do know Jace is gayer than Blue, right? Like they have their own cape screaming SUPERGAY on their back." The sound of a random laugh had the two look to their left, as Alex sat beside her friend. It was Teddy making his rounds, when he heard their conversation.

"I quit men. I'm done." She crossed her arms over her chest, sighing in frustration.

"Good, more for the rest of us." Riley shrugged, chuckling with their reply.

"Maybe, I'll finally go on that date with Valerie." She proposed, thinking about the many times Val had asked her to a simple movie or to grab a bite, but Alex had always been terrified of trying something new.

"That would make her entire year." The green haired kid replied, knowing how well they would actually fit together.

"Wait, do you like Jace, or are you still hung up on Blue?" Alex questioned, randomly, her thoughts flying towards her cupid's arrow.

"I think with Blue it's different; I love him for who he is and I think I always will, because of how strong he is and how loving he is. But, the more I think about it, the more I realize I love him like a brother. I don't think I could see myself kissing him and fucking him, or even dating him. He's incredible, but I'm good with our cuddles and laughs." Riley answered truthfully, smiling once more at the semi couple asleep together.

"And with Jace, I don't know. I get giddy inside, hearing their name; they text me and my heart bursts, but it's difficult, because I don't know how they feel. They're very closed off, which I understand, since they're dealing with getting clean of their suicidal tendencies and thoughts, while I'm dealing with cancer. But, I would love to be able to just listen to them talk and be there for them, you know?" They expressed their thoughts, speaking to Alex, and she nodded in comprehending with everything Riley had said.
