"Blue Daniels." His breath was short, heavy, and difficult, as Levi called for him.
Blue was seated with Val and Riley, while someone new was talking to Alex. Teddy and another nurse named Olive were with the little kids, playing along with their toys.
Looking up towards the door, Blue saw those damn honey brown eyes gaze at him. His body bent and broken from how fast he had run.
"Levi." His voice was shaky, earning stares from the many people in the room.
As he excused himself from his friends, Blue made his way towards the door, his eyes seeping into the honey ones he begged for. He could feel his knees weaken at the thought of how much he wanted him.
"Is this how you really feel?" Levi questioned, his heart doing back flips, the letter in his hand. "Because, baby, I miss you more than you know. I never once held it against you for pushing me away when I overdosed. I never once thought you and I were bad for each other. I think our mistakes were just that; mistakes. If I have to take it back to step one to reintroduce myself to you, I'll do it. If I have to make you fall in love with me again, I'll do everything I can. But, Blue, I can't live this damn life without you."
Every eye in the small space was on the two boys sharing their feelings. The younger kids were a bit confused, while the others were just awaiting Blue's response. Riley and the newer kid, who Levi learned was named Jace, were now sitting side by side, smiling at one another, as they sat by the edge of their seats.
"You can't make me fall in love with you all over again, when it happens every time I see you." Blue's voice was low, but the older boy heard every single word.
He didn't wait for another word to escape from the raven haired boy's mouth. Levi pulled him into the deepest kiss they had ever shared, their mouths dancing in sync with their bodies slowly forming into one.
His heart, body, mind, and soul were aligned, feeling utter happiness, as he poured out every spec of emotion into Levi's own heart.
"I hate to break this up, but Blue, I need to talk to you. And Levi, please get ready for your shift." Dr. Paul chuckled, causing a ruckus of laughter within the room.
"I'll see you later, Blue." Levi placed one more kiss on his favorite lips, before heading towards the nurse's bathrooms, so he could shower.
He nodded, unsure how this was supposed to go. Plus, the fact that Dr. Paul had to talk to him, scared him.

"I wanted to tell you good news today; I really did and I know how tough it must be to see all these friends of yours walk in and out, while you're here. But, your results aren't getting better, Blue." The older man could see the sadness in the boy's eyes, as he had to sit and listen to every word.
"How much longer do I have?" Blue asked, anxious for the answer.
"Blue-"
"If you don't tell me, I'll ask Cody to find out. I know I can't use your own son against you, but I need to know." The boy cut him off, adamant about finding out.
"A few months." He sighed, pinching the pride of his nose, as he responded.
"Please, let me spend them out there and let me experience everything I haven't been able to. I have a list of things I'm dying to do and I can't do them here." The younger boy begged, wanting to see something other than the walls he had been caged to.
"Last time we agreed on this and you stayed with Cody, you didn't make it in for any of your appointments." The doctor reminded him, a sly smile on his face.
"That was a different me, Doc. I need to live life until I can't and I need it to be with Levi." He heard himself counter, understanding how the nurse must have felt, when he was saying they had changed.
"If you promise me you'll be here for every appointment-"
"I promise on everything I am."
"Then, consider the goodbye party tonight for you, as well."

"Blue, baby, get up. We have a flight to catch." Levi had his fiancé in his arms, their naked forms blending into one, as they were waking up.
"Where we off to this time, my love?" The younger boy kissed him, before getting up.
"This stop is a surprise." Levi smiled, getting up, as well, before heading to the kitchen to start on breakfast.
The two had been living together for six months now, and got engaged after realizing that time wasn't something they could or wanted to waste.
Their flight to the secret destination wasn't long, but the two managed to sleep, either way. When they had landed, Blue's face lit up seeing the beaches and beautiful scenery around Hawaii.
"What's everyone doing here?" Blue questioned, curiously, seeing all their friends by the hotel lobby awaiting them.
"I mean, wouldn't you want all your friends at your wedding, baby?" The older boy laughed, watching how the younger boy's eyes widened at him.
Blue was speechless, and utterly confused how he was able to pull it all off without him finding out.
"I fucking love you, Levi Perez."
"And I fucking love you, Blue Daniels."
