Chapter 8: Sloth Vs Despair vs Greed

Last Time, Y/n and the rest of the sins were trying to find a way in to the necropolis to find King, the grizzly sin of sloth, who they thought was dead. They stumbled upon a villiage that had to be near the necropolis but it seemed to have been run down. There, Ban and Y/n had been ambushed by King.

(Third Person POV)

"Ban, Y/n, it's been a while hasn't it." King said with a smug looking smile. "How the hell can this brat be King?!" Ban demanded to know before King removed his weapon and begun to float in the air "Oh it's him alright. Congratulations asshole you lost weight now why did you attack Ban? He's annoying but he's also your teammate." Y/n asked with a serious look knowing a fight was going to go down

"Me and Ban have some business we have to attend. If you get in my way I'll be forced to take you out." He said making Y/n chuckle a bit "Forced? You hate my guts you'll do it regardless." Y/n said before laughing hysterically, angering King "Your damn right I would! You stole the woman I love and I'll never forgive you!" He said before sending mini blades after Y/n but it was no use because Y/n quickly jumped up to get behind King "I didn't steal your woman..she never loved you in the first place." Y/n whispered in King's ear before punching him to the ground causing a small crater "Well if it's a fight this imposter wants he'll get one." Ban said with a devilish grin while cracking his knuckles

"Actually Ban I've changed my mind. Stay outta this. I have a personal beef I wanna settle and it's all fair. One of our rules states that if two sins have a problem we can settle it with a fight." Y/n said as King got up and brushed some dirt off of him "Well he stabbed me in the chest I'm pretty involved!" Ban yelled making Y/n roll his eyes in annoyance "So then this is gonna be a triple threat..fine with me." Y/n said before surrounding himself in a magic aura "This day is great for me. I get to have my revenge on the man who killed my sister Elaine to get immortality as well as take my revenge on the bastard who stole the woman I love." King explained as Y/n looked at Ban with shock 'Geez I knew this guy was a prick but I didn't think he'd kill someone just for his own selfish desires..' He thought to himself while still looking at Ban who had a blank look that was slowly turning into one of anger

King summoned a big spear named, "Chastiefol" and sent it flying towards Y/n who quickly summoned his sword to clash with the spear "Hades vs Chastiefol..let's find out who has the stronger sacred treasure." Y/n said as the two of them struggled to overpower each other not noticing Ban who was running in their direction "Watch your step Y/n!" Ban yelled before delivering a nasty hook to Y/n's cheek sending him flying and making him drop his sword "You should take your own advice." King said as he hit Ban with the blunt part of the spear also sending him flying. As the two landed, King summoned a giant sunflower and shot a beams of light at them "BLACK HOLE!" Y/n yelled as he summoned a black hole that swallowed King's attack and gave him more energy "Magic Attacks are useless against me. I can just swallow them and take the energy from them. It's because of my magical power: Black Hole." He explained while picking up his sword

"Well don't forget I can just steal your strength Y/n." He said with a wide grin "Yes I know I'll just knock you out before you can." Y/n said before rushing towards Ban and slicing his neck causing blood to go on his sword "Oh no!.." King said knowing what that meant "That's exactly right King. My sacred treasure the Blood Sword Hades is pretty unique. The more blood that gets on the sword, the more powerful I become. Not to mention I'm pretty damn good with weapons." He said before jumping up to King and pretty much attempting to slice his head off but King barely dodged and cut Y/n a bit with his spear on his arm but Y/n grabbed the spear and noticed Ban getting up. "Just stay down." Y/n said before throwing the spear and impaling Ban in his stomach

Y/n then turnt around and threw a fireball at King, sending him flying down to the floor. Y/n made a perfect landing on the floor and saw that both Ban and King were on the floor struggling to get up "Now we can stop acting like petty little bitches? We're the Seven Deadly fucking sins not the Seven Petty Sins. King, it's not my fault that I got with Diane, we're in love and you should stop being  jealous and move on. There's a lot of people out there so don't waste your whole life focusing on one person who doesn't feel the same way." Y/n said before helping King up from the ground "Hey why didn't you help me up Mr Stud?" Ban asked while on the ground with the spear still in him laughing hysterically "Well now I'm not because you called me that." Y/n answered before laughing as well "Fine.." Ban said as he took out the spear only for it to disappear along with King

"What the hell?!" Ban exclaimed looking around for King "Maybe he was a ghost.." Y/n said while scratching his head confused. The two of them sat on the floor confused until Y/n felt a bump on his head "Bad Y/n." Y/n heard as he turned around to see Meliodas standing with a mug in his hand along with Diane, Elizabeth, and Hawk behind "Jesus did you guys fight a bear or something?" Meliodas asked looking at Y/n who had blood running down his arm and Ban who was sitting in a pool of his own blood.

"That's the thing..we saw King! And kinda fought him but that's besides the point! He's alive and lost weight..and his aging somehow reversed.." Y/n explained confusing Meliodas "Did you hit your head?" Meliodas asked "No he's telling the truth. Apparently fatass  isn't six feet under.." Ban answered

"So good news then..we don't have to go to the necropolis but we still have to look for King.." Y/n said excitedly about the first part and not so much about the last part. "NO..we still have to go to the necropolis..I have something I need to do.." Ban said quickly and also shocking everyone

'It must have to do with that girl King mentioned..' Y/n thought to himself

I made this chapter to basically show off how strong Y/n really is compared to the other sins as well as to really explain how his abilities work.
