Chapter 11: Y/n learns a new technique

Last time, the group of Y/n, Meliodas, Ban, King, and Hawk signed up for the Vaisel Fighting Festival to retrieve Diane's sacred treasure Gideon, a giant warhammer. The group breezed by the preliminary round and now it was time for the first match, Y/n versus Howzer, who was a holy knight

(Third Person POV)

Both Y/n and Howzer were standing unfazed by each other's presence and it felt like you could cut the tension with a knife. "Okay you two are you ready?!...fight!" Lovehelm yelled and not a few seconds later, Y/n rushed over to Howzer and kicked him into the air causing him to scream in pain followed by Y/n brutally stomping on Howzer's chest, sending him falling back down

"Oh no! Is Howzer done for already?!" Lovehelm questioned and as he said this, Howzer made a last second landing knowing if he didn't, he'd probably be knocked out cold

"Wow this kid is tough! He's able to hurt a holy knight.." Howzer said breathing heavily while holding his chest that had been stomped on

Y/n also landed back on the arena preparing his next attack. He decided to rush Howzer again but this time, he was met by a tornado which stopped him in his tracks "Damn that almost got me!" Y/n said to himself not realizing that the tornado was a distraction so Howzer proceeded to catch Y/n with a Full Nelson, surprising Y/n along with the rest of the sins

"Wow I thought this guy was too stupid to think of a strategy." Ban said suprised "You think Y/n stands a chance against this guy captain?" King asked not necessarily concerned for Y/n "Yeah he's got this. It's not just me saying this as his brother but I know because Y/n hasn't even used half his power yet." Meliodas explained with a proud smile on his face

~Flashback~

The holy war had been going on and Meliodas had been staying with a group called Stigma, an alliance between all the clans excluding the demons. Y/n was there with him and they had been training all day.

"Hey Meli. How do I become strong like you? I get scared every time I have to fight and I definitely can't take on one of the commandments let alone father." A younger Y/n asked with a gloomy look on his face

"Well I'll tell you this much. You're a lot stronger than you think you are. But real strength doesn't come from just training endlessly. It comes from right here." He explained before pointing to his heart "my heart? Are you trying to prank me or something?" Y/n asked confused

"Not at all. When you have friends or someone you want to protect, you feel a hundred times stronger and you feel like you can take on anyone for them. You've got a good heart little bro so I know you're strong and plus, you'll definitely find someone you wanna protect when you're older. You DO have the same genes as me so you'll be good. Nishishishi!" Meliodas said before ruffling Y/n's hair making him smile

~Flashback ends~

Y/n had been stuck in Howzer's full Nelson for a while and just as it seemed like everyone gave up on Y/n and as they now thought he was done for, Y/n surrounded himself in purple electricity and it seemed like he was getting stronger "What the!?" Howzer yelled before Y/n finally broke out and his power up sent Howzer crashing to the floor as Y/n made some distance between the two

'I'm glad I didn't have to resort to using my demon form..' Y/n thought to himself stretching his neck and back out

"It looks like the deadliest stuffed animal broke out! How much power does he have!" Lovehelm shouted as the crowd roared very loudly to the point where no one could hear their own thoughts and started to cheer for Y/n

"How'd you break out?! I thought I had you!" Howzer almost demanded to know earning a laugh from Y/n "I simply stopped holding back! From now on, I'll use my full power!" Y/n answered with a smile on his face before surrounding himself in another electric aura 'I turned my darkness into an element. I'm surprised I haven't thought of it before! The power of darkness is unstable and hard to control but if I turn it into an element I'm sure I can control it, it's much more potent!' Y/n thought to himself getting more excited with every second

"You're a really interesting little kid. I'm really enjoying this fight!" Howzer said before summoning a few tornadoes to limit Y/n's movement but it was no use as Y/n seemingly teleported in front of Howzer and proceeded to hit him with a barrage of punches with each hitting him directly until Y/n hit him with one final punch covered in lightning right in his gut, sending him flying out of not just the arena, but the whole platform where the fight was taking place

"It looks like Ted E Bear is the winner!" Lovehelm announced causing the crowd to now chant Y/n's name as he threw up a peace sign and started to grin like an idiot

"Y/n stepped out of the stage and was greeted by a noogie and a grin from Ban "That was friggin awesome little bro! How'd you convert your darkness into lightning?" Meliodas asked "Well..I really just thought of a way to control the powerful and unstable power of darkness and I remembered that I'm able to control elements pretty well so I figured that turning my darkness into one would be pretty neat." Y/n explained 'I have no idea what any of this means..' both Ban and King thought to themselves'

"Holy crap Y/n I knew you were tough but geez you might be the strongest sin!" Hawk exclaimed a little scared for Y/n's next opponent

"Well I don't know about that but I'd like to think I'm pretty strong." Y/n said all embarrassed and rubbing the back of his head head and laughing

The next match was between Griamore and Matrona which peeked Y/n's interest. He had wanted to know just who Matrona was. She was wearing a cloak and a hat that covered her face but for some strange reason, Y/n felt a feeling of warmth around her like she was someone he knew

The two got in the arena and Lovehelm had asked Matrona to take off the cloak just in case she was hiding weapons and when she did, Y/n, Meliodas, Ban, King, and Hawk's faces all lit up with shock seeing the outfit she was wearing. She was wearing the boar hat uniform with Elizabeth's earrings.

"Is that Elizabeth?! Since when was she a fighter?!" Y/n asked in genuine confusion "No it can't be. Her butt's a little bigger and her boobies are a bit smaller.." Meliodas commented making King blush a bit and Y/n gave a concerned look "Do you know her exact measurements?" Y/n asked hoping Meliodas wouldn't answer "I can tell just by looking" Meliodas responded with somehow not feeling any shame

The fight started and Matrona began to hit Griamore with a flurry of punches in his stomach but he was unfazed and started to put up a barrier "When I put up my barrier nobody can break them so there's no use trying to break it. I'm not like Howzer who actually puts his hands on civilians." Griamore explained as the barrier kept getting bigger and bigger, pushing Matrona back until she started hitting the barrier even harder until she decided to punch it one more time, cracking it and later shattering it mere seconds later followed by her running towards Griamore and proceeding to jump and uppercut Griamore, sending him flying off the platform the same way Howzer did

As she did this, her hat came off and it was revealed that Matrona was none other than Diane

"D-Diane!???" The whole group said in genuine confusion
