"Honestly, I think you should tell him." Louis said with a mouthful of popcorn.

Wienna agreed with a noise and a nod as she stared at the TV.

"Nipple!" Louis screamed and quickly sat up from the fouton and poured Sourz in the three perfectly lined shot glasses.

Three. We were three now. Niall and Erin were celebrating their two month anniversary at some spa and Louis had his house to himself, which meant the rest of us did what we used to do every once in a while.

Louis picked a movie, we took a shot whenever we saw a nipple, camel toe or naked butt.

Kinda stupid, but it was a thing, ever since ninth grade...

I downed the shot and then took a sip of my coke before continuing the conversation.

"I don't want to tell him. He loves her."

Wienna and Louis groaned in choir, "If you do it now, maybe there's a chance, but if you wait any longer, it might be too late." Wienna responded.

"It'll just make things weird." I sighed.

"Oh my God, Margaret!" Louis sat up straighter and paused the film, "It's already weird, that's the fucking problem!"

"Weirder then!" I shouted back at him.

"I can't believe he won't notice himself, is he really that dumb?" Wienna continued.

I nodded, "He didn't notice Erin flirting until we told him, and she even asked him if her breasts look symmetrical in that t-shirt she wore second week of sitting together."

He'd never really been the brightest, always slowest to get the jokes and the last to laugh. That's one thing I adored about him.

"He's stupid, alright." Louis massaged his templets, "and I'm fucking drunk."

Wienna and I agreed, the movie had been going one hour and there was quite a lot of juicy scenes in it.

Louis and I both at the same time stood up, we both had the same thought. Smoke.

Wienna stayed in the couch with her blanket and watched tiktok, also knowing we were going out, it's crazy how a friendgroup can think and do the same without words after hanging out enough.

"I found out something about your deskmate," Louis said as we sat down on the stairs leading up to his front door outside.

"What?"

He closed his eyed and leaned back, "The girl I'm shagging said his mum is nuts, popping all kinda pills and shit."

I frowned, "Why would the girl you're shagging tell you that?"

He grinned with his eyes still closed, onviously quite amused by the fact he's got a fuck buddy and found out some gossip. "She's his neighbour."

My frown grew bigger, "Why the fuck would you guys talk about Harry Styles?"

"We were at her place and I saw him outside." He scratched his nose, "and you know I'm fucking nosy."

The alcohol made us forget the conversation and instead we were trying to figure out how many hook ups this boy'd had this year. It was a lot.

The next day was horrible. I'd never felt more hungover.

After the film we opened the rosé. And when that bottle was empty, we went to Louis neighbour, the kid living there was a few years older and threw a party every other weekend, of course Louis was friends with him.

Then the night ended up with an uber through the mcDonalds drive through and then straight home to Louis, where we all fell asleep in the livingroom with Brooklyn nine-nine playing in the background.

It was a good night. It always was. Except for the empty seat in the couch next to mine.

Wienna made us breakfast.

"How did we do this without you, Phan-tastic woman?" Louis laughed at his own pun as he downed two painkillers and then handed me the package.

"We didn't eat until late afternoon when Niall's mum made sunday dinner, remember?"

Before Wienna we only ate take outs and our parents food. But Wienna always cooked for us now which was such a blessing.

Wienna was also the one who stayed the most sober, her body could take alcohol like nobody I knew, we could drink as much and I would pass out on the street and she would carry me in and take my makeup and shoes off without waking my parents. A Goddess.

"Niall's such a bore with Erin," Louis sat down on the barstool next to where I sat in his kitchen, we both facing Wienna standing on the other end of the kitchen island where the stove was placed. "I mean, he always brings her with us but they're always cuddling, then he's without her and he's always snapchatting her."

Louis was always grumpy when he was hungover.

"They're in the honeymoon phase, let it slide for now he'll come back." Wienna answered with a smile.

"Would be alot more fun if he dated Maggie, wouldn't it?"

I looked over at him, he looked mischevious as always when he'd brought up my crush, "I'm almost over him, please stop talking about it." Lie.

"Yeah since you slid into Harry's DM's last night I'm almost convinced." Wienna pursed her lips not to laugh.

I stared a the two of them, "What?!" I spat out and then I found my phone in the pocked of my sweats and saw an instagram notification.

I went into the conversation to see what I'd written. Why the fuck would I even think about Harry Styles when I'm drunk with college guys?

maggiesams: heyyyy r u akrightt harold, if u r thn nice bt if u not then y?

What the fuck. Why would I ask him that? As if he would tell me all his problems and doubts?

maggiesams: y r u ignring me

Oh come on, it's 2.30 fucking A.M.

"I'm so embarassed." I put my hand over my mouth and kept reading, because that wasn't the end.

maggiesams: ok bye harld issa ☀️ wen ur gone, good talk

Oh, that's very kind as well. Alcohol always brought out the cocky in me.

harrystyles: I'm alright, I just woke up. Are you alright? If not - why?

Of course he wouldn't type a dm without apostrophes or dots and commas. I could predict that. And of course he woke up at six in the morning on a sunday.

His response made me grin, thank God he had some sense of humour at least. But this was fucking embarrassing, we weren't those kind of friends.

"Why are you smiling?" Wienna asked suggestively.

"Because I'm an idiot and I'm not sure whether I should laugh or cry."

I didn't tell them he responded. They didn't have to know that.
