Counselor's Undertake

Part 2

Lilly, Daughter of Poseidon, Twin of Laura

Lilly, daughter of Poseidon, stood in her cabin, folding and putting away clothes, when the cabin door was pushed open. Laura walked in and Lilly's face lit up. "Laura! I wasn't expecting you today!" Lilly hugged her sister tight. Laura smiled softly. "I wasn't expecting to be here either, but Lady Artemis sent me." she explained, sitting down on a bunk. "I see you kept my old bunk exactly how I left it last" Laura laughed. "Yeah- I figured you would be back here eventually, so I left it like that just for you" Lilly smiled. Chiron walked into the cabin. "Now that I've given you girls a chance to catch up, there's something important we need to talk about." he said. Lilly looked up at Chiron, and back at Laura with a confused and concerned look on her face. "The gods are about to be at war. Lady Artemis sent me to help the demigods. And it involves dad, so we figured we'd come here first..." Laura explained. Lilly sighed softly. "What have they gotten themselves into this time." she asked. "I'll fully explain at the campfire this evening, where we will assign a quest. But we need your assistance before that." Chiron said. Now it was Laura's turn to be confused. "What do you mean?" she asked. "You will need to consult the oracle, before we give out a quest. And I want both of you to go." he said. Lilly nodded. "Of course Chiron... when do you want us to go?" she asked. Chiron looked at a clock on the wall of the Poseidon cabin. "Right about... now would be best" he decided. Laura and Lilly stood from the beds they had been sitting on. "To the big house then." Lilly said, opening the door the the cabin. She and Laura walked out, followed by Chiron, and once they reached the big house, Lilly and Laura climbed up to the attic. "It's been awhile since I've been up here..." Lilly muttered. "I've never been" Laura replied softly. "Well, this should be an interesting experience." Lilly stepped into the attic. Laura stepped up and stood beside Lilly. Together, they approached the oracle. The shriveled up mummy opened its eyes. "Ask what you wish to know..." she hissed. Laura gulped and looked at Lilly, who merely nodded. "How do we save Olympus?" Laura asked simply. Green smoke spewed from the Oracle's mouth. "12 heros shall destroy destruction, the olympian powers exposed to abduction. For a child born to love and the vine, the venture may provide them a fate much like mine." the oracle hissed. The green smoke disappeared and the oracle turned back into a lifeless, shriveled, mummy, just as it had been when Lilly and Laura stepped into the attic. Lilly shivered. "Never ceases to confuse me" she muttered. Without another word, Lilly and Laura walked out of the attic, and down to the main floor of the big house. "Did you receive a prophecy?" Chiron asked, as the sisters entered the room. Lilly nodded. "We did." she said. "Wonderful! What was it. I need the exact wording." Chiron said. Laura took a breath. "12 heros shall destroy destruction, Olympian powers exposed to abduction. For a child born to love and the vine, the venture may provide them a fate much like mine." Laura recited. Chiron nodded slowly. "I see... Do not dwell on the prophecy too much, trying to understand may make it worse." Chiron said, "In the meantime, Laura, enjoy your time with your sister, I'll see you both at the campfire tonight.
