"It's so hard seeing with this dumb..eye patch!" Pixie fussed in Ranger's kitchen. She sighed and stomped her feet, then continued preparing lunch for their date.

"Princess, you ready?" Ranger arrived home and pulled off his hoodie.

"In the kitchen!" Pixie called out.

He made his way to the kitchen and stopped in his tracks. He was astonished.

"Ba-by..you look stunnin'." He hugged her from behind. "Like a lil angel."

"Rangeerrr." She whined. "You're gonna mess up my small curly fro."

He kissed her cheek and laughed. "I won't." He held onto her.

"Ranger..are you not going to let go?" She put the food into a picnic basket.

"No. You smell magical."

She rubbed his arm and smiled.

"Go left...make a right...another right." Pixie gave Ranger directions. "Another right...then a left."

"Baby..that's a forest." Ranger stopped the car.

"I know, keep going."

"Nuh uh..baby, that is a forest."

"Ranger. Go in."

He mumbled and drove in, the road became bumpy.

They both bounced in the car. Pixie laughed and enjoyed the fun, but Ranger was worried about his car.

There was finally a clear path, showing a lake, flowers and lots of trees.

Ranger put the car to a stop.

"Isn't it pretty? We're going to have so much fun." Pixie rushed out the car.

Ranger gave Pixie the aux and she played music. It blasted loudly from his car.

They sat on a blanket, facing the lake. It was peaceful.

"I like this. Just bein' with you." Ranger bit into a cheese sandwich.

Her head was placed on his shoulder. "Me too."

"Next thing I know she was feelin' on me, And.."
