After the soldiers left and locked the door, Everest, Skye, and Katie had a bit of time to be able talk.

Katie sighed. "Finally, they're gone," she said. "Okay, we don't have much time to talk."

"What's going on?" asked Skye.

"I'm not sure yet," claimed Katie. "All I know is that it has something to do with Chase and Marshall. Their leader, Jason Puissance..."

"Jason Puissance?" asked Skye. "We fought him a while ago."

"What does this have to do with them?" asked Everest. "I thought this was a revenge plan against the entire Paw Patrol after we defeated him at Barkingburg."

"True," said Katie, remembering when Ryder told her about it while he fixed her air conditioner. "He claims that he wants to capture them. He has a surprise for them. I don't know what it is yet. But don't they have some history? I remember Ryder telling me about it, but I can't completely remember it."

Everest and Skye explained Chase's and Marshall's backstory to her. Chase and Marshall have told them the story multiple times. They loved hearing the story. It gave them confidence.

"Now I remember, thanks," said Katie when Skye and Everest finished telling her the backstory. "So do you think this has to do with their history or do you think its just revenge?"

"I don't know." replied Skye. "But we still need to find a way out."

"What do they have you doing, Katie?" asked Everest to the blonde girl.

"They have me taking food to the soldiers and other prisoners. I still have a hard time getting around since I got here just a while ago same as you guys."

"How do you get around?" Skye asked.

"The soldiers that were just here have been taking me from place to place," Katie explained.

"Have you gotten a map of the place?" asked Everest.

"No, but I can see into getting one," replied Katie.

"That's a good idea," said Skye. "We can use the map to find a way out of here."

"Is Ryder...er...the Paw Patrol coming to rescue us?" asked Katie.

"I would think so," said Everest. "They would never leave anyone behind."

The soldiers returned from their trip to the kitchen.

"We found your keys on the counter," one of the soldiers commented. He tossed them over to Katie.

"Thank you," said Katie.

"It's time to go," said the soldier. "These pups aren't the only ones you have to take food to."

"Okay," said Katie. "Talk to you two later." Katie, followed by the two guards, took a cart of food over to the next room with prisoners.

"What do we do now?" asked Skye.

"Right now, we eat," replied Everest. "We are just going to have wait for her to return."

Skye and Everest ate the food, not talking much while eating. After that, they placed the plates to the side and sat down near the wall that separates them.

"Was it just me, or did Katie seem pretty happy to hear that Ryder was coming?" asked Everest.

"Yeah, I noticed it as well," replied Skye.

"Should we ask her about it? If it is true, I want to help them get together."

"For now, let's just stay quiet until we know more," said Skye.
