Chase and Marshall were just waking up. They were the last ones to wake up. They were more tired than they thought. Everyone else was waiting for them to wake up.

"Hey, everyone," Chase said as he stretched. "How did you guys sleep."

"We're good," replied Rocky.

"We were waiting for you two to wake up so we can discuss our battle plan," explained Ryder.

"Okay, then since we are awake now, we can discuss about it together," Marshall said.

"Shouldn't we wait Luna to return so we can discuss it with her as well?" asked Chase.

"That would be wise," Alpha Luna said from the Paw Patroller entrance.

She sure know hows to make an entrance, Ryder thought to himself.

"Alpha Luna, thank you for coming," announced Ryder.

"The pleasure is all mine," Alpha Luna replied. "So, what is it that the Nightguard pack could be of assistance."

"Well, we're planning on entering the building through a window in the back on the second-floor," Chase explained. "But we need a distraction so we won't be noticed. The Nightguard pack can help cause a distraction. Marshall, Rubble, and Ryder can go along to help you. Me, Rocky, and Zuma will go in and find the others. We will bring a couple of them back with us at a time. The distraction must last as long as it can so we have enough time to accomplish our mission."

"Wait a second," said Rocky. "You want us to go with you?"

"Of course," replied Chase.

"Why? Why not go with Ryder or Marshall, who know more?"

"Because they know more," explained Chase. "I thought about what you guys said, and you're right. Me and Marshall DO know more than you guys. I want you guys to learn some new skills in case anything happens to us. You two will learn from me today and Rubble will learn from Marshall. Next time, we will switch. You two go with Marshall, and Rubble goes with me."

"Yeah, when Chase told me about it, I was thrilled to have you guys learn from us," added Marshall.

The other pups couldn't believe what they were hearing. They were actually going to learn how to do more things and they will learn from, in their mind, the best of the best.

"What do you guys say?" asked Chase.

Rocky and Zuma looked at each other and looked back at Chase. "Let's do it," they said in unison.

"Alright, then," Chase said. He looked back at the hologram of the building.

"What can we do about the guards and cameras?" asked Chase.

"How many are there?" asked Ryder.

Chase press the button to give an order to the drone. "Locate heat signatures," he said aloud. The drone did as it was told, and almost immediately, red and orange figures started appearing throughout the hologram.

"I count four guards on the roof and five on the second floor," Chase said.

"If this is the building, wouldn't there be a fence or something around it?" asked Zuma.

They haven't thought about this. Chase zoomed out the hologram and Zuma was right. A fence ran around the building and about an acre of land. Chase and Marshall were even more confident this place looked familiar. There were about a dozen soldiers, each with a canine that was most likely a Doberman, patrolled the yard.

"We haven't thought about that," said Marshall. "Nice job, Zuma."

"Thanks," Zuma said.

Chase examined the fence. He noticed something in one of the corners in the back of the building. "They have things stacked up in the far corner," he pointed out. "That is our best entrance point."

"I agree," said Ryder. He looked over to the map of the city they had on the big screen. He looked at the city and the surrounding area. "We can cause the diversion from here," he exclaimed. "We can park the vehicles outside facing the building and turn on all the lights."

"Yeah," said Marshall. "Since I know how to drive all the vehicles, I can show Rubble how to drive them as well. We can park them against the side of the Paw Patroller. The Nightguard pack can wait near by. If something goes downhill, they will step in. The immediate plan will be to distract them from seeing Chase and the others. If that plan fails, we will have to capture the soldiers. The wolves will help with the Dobermans. Rubble can start by creating a ditch a couple hundred yards out that goes around us. That will make it harder for them to get yo close."

"What of they start shooting?" asked Rubble. "Last time, they shot both Chase and Marshall. Who says they won't do it again?"

"Then you guys can shoot back," Chase said. He walked over to the other side of the Paw Patroller and pressed a button. A black box popped out of the side of the Paw Patroller, revealing multiple boxes filled with ammo and darts. "These are stun darts," Chase explained. "Ryder and me installed it after the last battle because when may never know when we need them. Since we are not trying to kill anyone, we will only stun them. These will be quote useful."

"Nice," said Rocky. "Are we going to use them as well?"

"We will take them because they might be needed," Chase replied. "Oh, and I placed the super spy suits in the back of the Paw Patroller. Me and Marshall already have ours on, so now it is your guy's turn to put them on."

The other pups walked to the back to put on their suits. Alpha Luna just watched them. "Would you like one, too?" Chase asked Luna.

"I'm okay, but thank you," Alpha Luna replied. "But I must talk to you two." Chase and Marshall looked at each other, confused.

"Sure, what is it?" asked Marshall.

"You both have been such help ever since the fire you two saved me from," Luna explained. "Because of it, I am naming you both Princeps in the pack. The word princeps is latin for authority and general. From this point on, my pack will follow your orders. Only I will be above you. I am trusting you with my pack because you have shown honesty, strength, bravery, and confidence. I know you will not fail the pack."

Chase and Marshall didn't know what to say. They were given the authority of an entire pack. That, plus the fact that they were second and third in command of the Paw Patrol, was a lot of pressure to take in.

"What do you say?" asked Ryder. "If I were you, I would take it. It can be very useful in battles like these."

"It would be an honor," Chase said at last.

"Splendid," said Alpha Luna. "I will go notify the pack of this news."

"Will they be fine with it?" asked Marshall.

"Of course, it was them that called you two out as princeps material. They will be honored as well," Luna replied, and with that she left to tell the pack. Minutes later, howls could be heard all around them.

"What's going on?" asked Rocky.

"Alpha Luna just made Chase and Marshall princeps of the Nightguard pack," replied Ryder.

"Princeps?" asked Rubble.

"It's latin for authority and general," answered Chase. "We can order the pack something and they will obey. Only Alpha Luna has more authority than us."

"Dude, that's wicked cool," said Zuma. "You both deserve it."

"Thanks Zuma," said Marshall. At that moment, Alpha Luna returned into the Paw Patroller with two other wolves.

"I want you to meet Solstice," Luna said, pointing at the wolf on her right. He was a black wolf with a dark gray snout and belly. His left eye was black and his right eye was light grey. That was probably the reason his name was solstice. The other wolf was dark grey with a black line going down his back. He had green eyes and one white ear while the other one is grey like the rest of his body. "And this one is Silverback," said Luna. "They will tag along with you. They are some of the most loyal wolves in the pack." Solstice and Silverback bowed their heads to the Paw Patrol as a sign of respect and loyalty.

"Okay, nice," said Chase.

Chase and Marshall walked to the door and the others followed. "Let's begin our Search for Loved Ones," they said in unison as they walked out the door, their pride at its highest point.
