Tony had a bit to drink yesterday. Most of the time he's a flirty drunk type of guy, but yesterday was one of them. Tony had stumbled up to our room where I was sat reading and he fell onto the bed and crawled up to me, he rested his head in my lap and I ran my fingers through Tony's hair while I kept reading.

He dozed off for a few minutes before opening his eyes once more to rant about something he had probably just dreamt while he was laying there in my lap.

"Why...why do you even like me, Steve?" He had asked me, I stopped my reading instantly and shut the book, putting it down by my side. I raised an eyebrow at him, he sighed like a moody child before proceeding.

"Like...you're su—you're beautiful, Steve. A clear 10/10," I scoffed but smiled at him, still stroking his soft hair. "Thank you, honey."

Tony continued.

"So..why are you with me? Of like..all the people that would want you? I'm old."

"Excuse me, Tony I'm over 100 years old. Don't come to me with that." I chuckled and motioned for him to sit up, he sluggishly did and huddled into my side.

"But you look like you did when you were 26, Steve. I'm..like really old. And you're beautiful."

"Oh come on, Tony. I didn't fall for you just 'cause you're beautiful, that was just one enormous plus. You were charming, funny, charismatic and you didn't care about my appearance before I became Captain America. I adore and idolize you, and I think you're the love of my life. Not just my soulmate."

Tony smiled sheepishly with tired eyes, that seemed to turn duller and duller from lack of sleep. Despite that we always sleep in the same room he doesn't sleep, but I don't notice because I'm asleep. And the more he stays up the more I stay up, but after drinking he went out like someone had slapped him with a tree. He leaned towards me and took a sloppy and light grip of my face and pressed his lips to mine, also very sloppily. I couldn't blame him, though. He was probably very tired.

He suddenly fell into a pile of Tony Stark by my side, it was like he fell in slow motion from the sluggishness of it all. He was done for it. I exhaled sharply through my nose with a what felt like a smile of fondness. I am really fond of him so it's not exactly a surprise. I was supposed to leave and get Tony a glass of water if he were to need it during the night, and an aspirin he could have in the morning. But he grabbed my arm softly and mumbled something, to me it was inaudible.

"Why are you...leaving, Steve?" he murmured against the sheets.

"I'm just gonna get you a glass of water. I'll be back, don't worry." I assured him, adding a soft smile for effect. There were few times when he could resist me when I gave him my signature soft smile, just like he would be irresistible to me when he simply stared at me. I don't know why that would have such an effect on me but it sure did, he had persuaded me to do many things with that look. Just like I had with him.
