"Caleb..." I whispered. My heart was pounding in my chest, my vision fogging. All I wanted to think about was how much I hate this man. But I couldn't. This was her brother. I would always despise Caleb for being a coward, but nonetheless I had forgiven him. Even though I had only forgiven because he'd been willing to sacrifice himself for her.

"So nice to see you again, Tobias." He said solemnly. I gritted my teeth, and did not reply. I wanted to punch him in the face, but I withheld the urge. He looked behind me and his eyes widened when he saw Beatrice.

"Who's this?" He asked, while Beatrice's cheeks went red with embarrassment.

"Christina's daughter." I replied quietly. Caleb gave us a quizzical look, and I couldn't help blurting it out.

"Her name's Beatrice" I said quickly, and it came out like one whole sentence rather than three separate words. I watched his face fall.

"Well...umm...I...uhhh...I heard you talking to Shauna over there," He said trying to talk with ease. He must know that Christina's dead, I thought to myself. "If you would come with me Tobais, I can check your heart rate and give you some more of the medication Dr. Brown has had you on." I nodded and Beatrice and I followed him down a corridor to what I recognized as the dauntless hospital. We walked in and I felt relieved that the narrow room hadn't changed at all. There were still curtains separating the room into sections and there were still the familiar tattooed nurses that could only be dauntless. Caleb ushered me to the second curtained area and had me sit on a bed. He checked my pulse, heart rate, eyes, ears, nose, and just about everything else, while Beatrice stood in the corner awkwardly fiddling with her thumbs. Finally, he handed me my prescription of pills and I thought he was going to let us leave, but he kept staring at Beatrice. It started to get uncomfortable and I was about to say something when she spoke up.

"Do you want something from me, Dr. Prior?" She asked blatantly. Caleb blinked and scratched the top of his head.

"Well, actually, I was wondering if you knew who your father was?" He asked her. She shook her head.

"No, I don't. Why do you ask?" She questioned.

"Well, I've been working on this new medical project, and if you want, I could give you a blood test and we could find out who your father is." He said. I looked over at Beatrice. Her face was white as a ghost but I could see a hint of curiosity in her eyes. She wanted to know.

"Sure." She paused as if considering something. "But how long will it take ?" She asked.

"Oh, just a few minutes." Caleb responded while pulling out a small clear kit that contained a needle. "I'm gonna do it really fast, okay?" He said. Beatrice nodded and I had to look away as he inserted the needle into her arm. It reminded me of when I used to do the same thing. But with a needle that induced your worst fears, and went through your neck. Caleb took out the needle that was now holding blood.

"I'll be right back," He said. "I'm going to test it." And with that he pulled back the curtain and walked away. Beatrice and I sat in silence for the next few minutes. She was nervous and I could tell. Suddenly, the curtain whooshed away and Caleb was standing there holding a piece of paper with lots of small printing on it. His eyes were wide in shock and Beatrice looked at him in concern.

"Well?" She asked. "Who is it?" Caleb blinked rapidly and pointed at me.

"It's Tobias..." He said.
