Y/N pov
Upon exiting the woodlands Y/N was greeted with the sight of towering stone walls. At the top were hundreds of soldiers along with turrets, mortars, artillery pieces, and more.

"That's a lotta guns." Laura whistled.

Y/N nodded in agreement. "Yes, it is fortunate they are not pointed at us."
Y/N swept his gaze across the structure quickly finding a large metallic gate further down the wall. "Come we are getting close."

"Lead the way."

Upon reaching the gates Y/N found himself standing behind a line of people and vehicles. The line was agonizingly slow with the two dozen or so people shuffling forward every ten minutes. Y/N calmly surveyed the surroundings looking for any sign of Grimm or trouble. An entire hour would pass until Y/N was wrenched from his vigil by the voice of a guard.

"ID please." The guard did a double take taking a few seconds to comprehend the massive man standing before him.

Y/N watched as Laura dug through her pack quickly producing a set of cards. The guard took them and inserted them into a machine. A minute would go by before the machine beeped and spat out the plastic.

"Y-You're in welcome to Vale."

Y/N retrieved the cards immediately handing them back to Laura. The two marched past the checkpoint and into the city that lay before them.

It had taken another hour for the two to finally reach the center of the metropolis and to their delight they found a small store selling maps of the place. A few missing Lien later and another half hour of walking Y/N found himself standing inside a Airship as it flew over the buildings of Vale. The transport eventually seemed to follow a wide river that lay in the middle of the city. Glancing outside the windows Y/N watched as a cluster of structures drew closer and closer to the ship. Upon further inspection the structures appeared to be a series of towers interlocking with one another along with a large number of buildings and facilities underneath them.

"There it is." Laura murmured.

Y/N said nothing. He continued to gaze at the structures with growing intensity specifically at one filled with a ominous green light. An automated voice interrupted him from his staring as it beeped on the speakers above.

"You have arrived at your destination." The voice chirped. "Welcome, to Beacon Academy."

The Airship rumbled as it let down a boarding ramp resulting in Y/N and Laura disembarking and taking their first steps onto the academy grounds.

The first sight they were met with was a gigantic avenue leading to a building containing several aqueducts and archways. The avenue was slightly empty with only the occasional student or staff members walking around. Y/N proceeded to walk forward quickly reaching a set of giant double doors. Pushing them open Y/N found a receptionist at her desk along with two more doors behind her. Much like the guard the receptionist seemed awed by Y/N's size and appearance before quickly scrambling forward onto her computer.

"Forgive me there weren't any visitors scheduled for today how may I help you."

"I wish to speak the headmaster of this school."

The receptionist paused. "Unfortunately Headmaster Ozpin is not taking any visitors at this time you will have to come back later."

Y/N leaned forward slightly putting his intimidating appearance to use. "Unfortunately this visit is an urgent one I need to see him now!"
