Y/N: Your name

Y/N drifted within his own mind uncertain about how many years had already passed. Yet even while "awake" in his own mind Y/N would still be beset by countless visions and dreams of unknown people and locations. The dreams however would always produce a constant of three things. One was a grey haired man while the other was that of a pale woman with red eyes and blackened veins. He knew not their names and when they spoke he could hear nothing but the two would always appear even after dozens of other people disappeared or died. The last constant was a daemon like creature made of blackened fur, bone white armor, and sinister red eyes. Eventually his dreams would settle on a young child, a female with black hair and red highlights along with two glowing silver eyes. He would often have visions of her at what seemed to be random points in her life. He watched her learn to ride a bike, or learn how to bake, and finally how to kill those daemonic creatures. Y/N would watch on in interest always collecting and storing these memories for later use.Only the Emperor knows how long Y/N stayed like this inside his own mind. In the end Y/N was ripped from one of his dreams due to a scream that seemed to pierce the fog he lay in. Another second would go by before someone screamed again this time with another voice joining it. As the time went by more and more screams would join together until they made up a ear shattering shriek. This was not to last as the screams quickly became silent and instead were replaced by a heavenly choir singing a hymn. Perplexed Y/N would gaze around the void finding a warm and gentle light had appeared before him as he reached out to touch it a voice boomed from it.
"AWAKEN."
As if he was blessed by the Emperor himself Y/N felt a grand surge of energy run through him and like a chainsword through flesh Y/N tore through the fog clouding his mind. Bit by bit the fog would start to clear and a bright shining light would soon replace the desolate gray around him.
In an instant Y/N would awake in the physical world once more. He quickly willed his armor to power itself on only to find that the process was incredibly slow. After an agonizing five minutes Y/N's armor would finally start to work the first thing that he could move were his arms and legs and he stood up quickly removing the helmet that he wore. Almost immediately Y/N's attuned hearing picked up the sounds of screaming and gunfire somewhere outside and looked around to find the cave entrance a few dozen feet in front of him.
As Y/N stumbled toward the light he noticed the sound of dripping water and looked up to find dozens of stalactites formed on the ceiling. Curiously enough Y/N did not remember seeing any stalactites when he first emerged.
Disregarding this thought Y/N continued forward only to stop as his sabaton's touched a familiar object. Bending down Y/N grabbed ahold of his sword feeling a sense of comfort in his old weapon.
This peace was interrupted by another burst of gunfire and Y/N quickly rushed outside only to find a shattered moon high above the planet and the glow of fire lighting up the night sky.

As Y/N emerged from the thick woodland brush. He watched as what appeared to be a village was under siege by a horde of those daemonic creatures.
Slipping his helmet on once again Y/N was relieved to find the auto sensors working along with the targeting systems. With sword in hand Y/N charged forward slamming into a daemon that resembled that of a wolf from Terran legends. The creature was thrown backwards from the force and slammed into a tree with a sickening crack. In an instant dozens of these monsters turned to face Y/N before howling in rage at the sight of their fallen comrade.
