"You can't possibly be serious!""I very well am Glynda."
"But-."
"In the short time I have interacted with him Y/N has proved himself to be incredible warrior along with someone with a intellectual and strategic mind it would be a waste not to have him teach the children."
Y/N heard the wood creak as Glynda leaned forward lowering her voice to a bare whisper. "How do you know we can trust him?"
"I am very good at reading people Glynda plus I have a feeling about this." Ozpin hushed back.
Despite their attempt at secrecy Y/N still heard them both. The two continued to banter back and forth before Glynda would go silent. The sound of heels clicking against the ground turned Y/N's attention away from the tower window and onto the woman before him.
"I hope you will find me not as an adversary but as a colleague Glynda." Y/N rumbled while holding out his hand. Glynda herself seemed surprised at the immediate gesture of peace but quickly ignored it as she tried her best to stare Y/N down.
"Do NOT make him wrong on this." She said before storming into the elevator.
Y/N watched the elevator doors close the faint ding it produced settling his thoughts.
"My you are a strong one." Ozpin murmured as he sipped from his mug.
"What do you mean?"
Ozpin chuckled. "I've seen men wither under that stare you must have some nerves if you're able to hold against it."
"Well, I am no ordinary man." Y/N replied.
"Yes, you are a Astartes? Is that right?"
"Yes." Y/N confirmed.
"It's fascinating humanity was able to create soldiers like you."
"Yes, but just like your Huntsmen we are few against many."
"I suppose that is a similarity we unfortunately share." Ozpin sighed. "But enough about our pasts we must focus on the future." Ozpin reached under his desk producing a folder and device. "This file contains your "official" teaching licence along with a few other papers it's best if you keep it close to you."
Y/N took the file and tucked it under his arm. "And that?" He asked while pointing toward the second object on Ozpin's desk.
"This." Ozpin took the device in his hands and pressed a button causing a screen to extend out of the two sides. "Is a scroll, specifically one tailored to you."
In Ozpin's hands the scroll looked gigantic but in Y/N's own palms it looked almost normal.
"I presume you know how scrolls work."
"Yes, we had a similar technology in the Imperium."
"Well along with the normal scroll benefits this scroll also contains all the information we have on our current students along with rules, guidelines, and a map of the campus"
"This is most useful Ozpin, when do I start?"
"You start tomorrow actually."
"That is not a lot of time to prepare."
"I believe you to be more than capable Y/N."
"Very well." With a nod to the Headmaster Y/N made his way to the elevator passively watching the doors close in front of him.
