Ruby pov
Ruby felt a drop of sweat roll down her cheek. Clutching Crescent Rose she watched as Y/N surveyed the scene in front of him. In truth she didn't really watch him.

No.

She felt it.

Y/N's gaze would sweep back and forth between her, her teammates, and team CRDL. His stare seemed to delve into their very minds pulling and probing at the strings as if to try and read their next action. In a sudden and somewhat startling action Y/N would raise his hand and bring it down all in one fluid motion.

The match had begun.

Dashing forward Ruby swung wide her scythe colliding against Sky's halberd, to her right she saw Yang face off against Cardin both trying their best to overpower the other. Steel rung against steel as she heard Weiss duel Dove, and the air whistled as Blake leapt through it matching Russel's own attacks.

Focusing her attention back to her opponent Ruby was thrown sideways as Sky took advantage of her distraction and swung his halberd into her side. Flying through the air Ruby's momentum was stopped as she slammed into Weiss causing her to stumble and miss her stab at Dove.

"Watch what you're doing you dolt!"

"Im sorry..." She groaned.

Standing back up Ruby paused as she found Sky and Dove rushing Weiss and her. Leveling Crescent Rose behind her Ruby pulled the trigger firing a shot that propelled her forward boot first into Sky's face. She watched as Sky skidded across the floor before turning her attention to Dove. Planting her beloved scythe into the ground Ruby fired off a series of rounds at Dove to which all were deflected. As her scythe clicked empty Ruby watched a black glyph appear under Dove's feet throwing him skyward before another appeared in front of him tossing him directly into Weiss' path. Using a combination of thrusts and slashes Weiss quickly started to whittle away the student's Aura. Ruby quickly loaded another magazine into her scythe and just barely heard the scraping of metal against concrete as Sky swung upward against Ruby's turned back. With a burst of her Semblance Ruby dashed away from the attack and behind Sky. Kicking him forward Sky stumbled straight into Weiss' path allowing her to use another glyph to launch Dove straight into him. Ruby frowned at the lack of teamwork that her opponents were showing glancing to her left she found Yang and Blake in a similar situation as Cardin and Russel bickered and argued over their plan of attack and strategy.

"Well this is certainly a unruly bunch." Weiss sniffed.

"I-"

Ruby's sentence was cut off as a bullet flew past her and followed by several more rounds. Holding Crescent Rose in front of her Ruby spun the weapon blocking the shots Sky fired at her with Weiss doing something similar with her rapier.

Weiss sighed clear disappointment on her face. "Well I've had more than enough of this particular fight how about you say we end this?"

"Yeah!" Ruby pumped her fist up in the air a new surge of excitement coursing through her.

Bringing up her scythe Ruby matched Sky's stance and together with Weiss charged the duo before them.

"Enough!"

Skidding to a stop Ruby turned finding Y/N having entered the stage his gaze sweeping across the arena.

"Line yourselves up."
