Chapter thirty

Roman's POV

"This should be the right place" Logan walks around a scrap yard, holding his phone out to use as some sort of tracker.

"Did you find him yet?!" Patton yells waiting in the van.

"No, I think his tracker thing is broken." I yell back

"It's not broken!" Logan argues "something interfering with the signal."

"So the signals broken?"

"For the last time, Nothing is broken!"

"Then why can't it find Virgil, we already have his pin point or something."

"Yes, but that shows his general position. So he's somewhere in this area, we just don't know we're he is exactly. Which means nothing is broken!"

"okay" I nod looking around. "Virgil, can you hear me?!"

Virgil's POV
"can you hear me?!" I wake up to the sound of someone screaming. Probably some kids got lost again, I wipe the sleep out of my eyes. I look around the room realizing deceit wasn't here, also my ankle really hurts. Last night I thought I try pulling the cuff on since it looks a bit rusted, but that only messed my ankle up I don't even know if I'd be able to walk on it.

"Where are you?!" The voice screams again, there's something familiar about there voice.

"Virgil!?" The voice screams.

"Roman?!" I yell back on the verde of tears, he came looking for me. Even after I said all those terrible things to him, even though I left. he still came looking for me. "Roman, I'm over here!"

"Virgil, Virgil?!" He yells,

"I'm over here!" I can hear his footsteps getting closer. "Fallow my voice!"

"Its okay Virgil, I'm here" I hear him say from just behind the door. "Shit, it's lock. Patton can you pass me that rock? Virgil you're going to hear a loud noise, but don't get scared okay?"

"Okay" I nod, as there's a loud crash causing me to blink.

"Oh my gosh" Roman runs over to hug me. "Don't you dare ever do that again"

"I'm sorry" I cry into his shoulder. "I was an idiot and scared and I said such awful things to you back at the apartment. I'm just so sorry."

"Hey, hey. It's okay" he whispers calming me down. "You're Safe now"

"But what I said?"

"It's fine, let's just get you home."

"Are you sure..." I ask, I think back to deceits story. What if he didn't make that up, what if I hurt them by going home. "That's a good idea?"

"Of course, why wouldn't it be?"

"What if...if I hurt you?"

"I promise you won't" he leans his head against mine. "Just please come home."

"Okay" I nod, "as long as you're with me, I know I'll be okay."
