Vanden, Elyse, Boblem, Sariel, Astra, and Cassian's living situations all have to change rather abruptly in the middle of their second year of college and they all end up rooming with each other. None of them know each other before this, only by reputation. Vanden is the youngest son of the governor and wants to keep his identity a secret for as long as he can so he doesn't get bombarded with political questions. Vanden has been friends with the badass Aroseia Bloodworth for as long as he can remember. She is not the daughter of another famous person, they just went to kindergarten together and have been best friends ever since. He doesn't really know her twin or older brother that well (yet). Lillith and Camilia are best friends. Lillith, Aroseia, and Lokian all live a couple doors down from the party of 6 and Cam lives 2 floors down.
