Chapter 7 My Worst Nightmare

Liam's POV

I looked over and saw Darby on the ground with blood gushing from her whole body. "OH GOD!!" I yelled. Then I saw someone running away, I ran towards them and tackled them. It was the same man from the shop, I started punching 'till he stopped moving. I left him in the alley and ran back in the club.

Harry POV

I saw her just laying there with a pool of blood forming around her. "SOMEBODY CALL 911!!!" I screamed. I just picked up her cold hand and started crying. The Ambulance came and picked her up on a stretcher.

Zayn's POV

"Harry, what happend?" I asked.

"Darby's been shot again." he said crying hysterically. Then I broke down and started crying. Liam, Niall, Louis, and Ashlin came running over and started crying with us all. "Liam, take us to the hospital." Harry moaned.

"Ok." Liam said. We all got in the car and we cried, but didn't speak the whole way there.

We finally arrived and I went up to the receptionist, "Is there a patient here named Darby?" I asked between sobs.

"Yes sir, we just admitted her. She has been rushed to immediate surgery. It's not looking good, you and all of your friends are going to have to wait here. I'll have someone come and get you if anything happens."

I went over to everyone and repeated that the lady said, "What did she mean 'It's not looking good'?" Niall asked.

As soon as he finished that a doctor came out, "Is there anyone here for a miss Darby?" he asked. We all stood up, "She has been shot several times an-"

Ashlin interrupted him "IS SHE OK?!?" she yelled.

"She is in critical condition. She is being unresponsive but the next 24 hours will be crucial." he ended. We all say back down in our chairs.

"Well I'm not leaving." Ashlin said.

"None of us are." Harry added.

A few hours later a nurse came out, "She has suffered some internal bleeding and some trauma to the head, but she should make a full recovery. Before you ask, no one can see her right now. In the morning you can." she said then walked out. We all stood up and hugged each other.

"Thank god." Ashlin cried.

Louis' POV

I couldn't believe this had happend to the same beautiful girl, twice!!

Harry's POV

Thank god she's ok, I was go worried that I would lose her.

Niall's POV

I just want to be with her and cuddle her and tell her 'everything's ok' but I can't. I wish I knew who did this.

Liam's POV

I couldn't believe that she was shot, again, in front of me. I was happy I got that guy, just the thought of him made me cringe. The only thing I couldn't figure out was, what happend between Darby and that man to make him hate her so much?

Ashlin's POV

I was crying next to Harry and cuddling up against him. She was my only family here, and my only friend, I couldn't lose her.

Darby's POV

I remember waking up to the noise of machines. There was no one there so I beeped for a nurse, "I there anything I can he you sweetie." she chimed.

"Are there people out there for me?" I asked.

"Yes."

"May I see them please?" I begged. She just nodded and walked out. I felt pain rushing through my body.

Everyone came running in and ghasped once they saw me. "I can't really look that bad, can I?" I laughed. They came up to me one by one and hugged me. Then I saw they all had my blood on them, I felt bad.

"Thank goodness you're going to be ok!" exclaimed Ashlin, she looked like she had been through a tornado of tears.

"Yeah. OUCH!!" I screamed in agony as I tried to sit up.

"What happend?" Liam questioned. He had a stern, yet mourning look on his face.

"I tried to sit up, but that didn't work out too well." I started laughing.

Louis POV

Why was she always laughing? She had just been shot AGAIN and she was laughing!

Darby's POV

"You guys can go home if you want to. I'm going to be fine, and you all need to get some sleep. You look awful." I started giggling.

"We aren't leaving you." Ashlin protested.

"Well fine, but I don't know where you are all going to sleep." I answered.

"We're going to sleep in here, they have chairs out there, and there it a couch in here. We can all pile up on that stuff." Liam said, coming back with mountains of pillows and blankets.

"Ok" I said with excitement. I really didn't want them to leave, I was just being nice earlier. They all piled everything up in the corner, the room I was in was quite big. They fell asleep before I did, I could hear someone mumbling in their sleep. I heard my name being called out, but it was muffled. I just brushed it off and fell fast asleep, I had dreamt that night.

I was walking around in a meadow full of flowers and, I had a beautiful white dress on. I started singing "What Makes You Beautiful" and I started swaying with the breeze. Then, suddenly, the meadow was gone and everything was black. I saw a figure coming towards me and it was a man. I took a closer look and saw 4 more behind him, one came up to me and grabbed my hand and kissed it, I had no idea what he was doing. The others stood in a horizontal line and was facing away from me. The other one joined them and I felt a hot breeze, then I heard the screams of thousands of girls. A spotlight came on the manly figures and it was the boys. They were giving a concert and I was standing behind them. "This is our 'very' good friend, Darby." Liam said, motioning for me to walk over to where he was. People boo'd and others were throwing things at me.

"What have I done?" I asked the audience.

One girl shouted "You killed them!!"

"No I didn't, they're right ther-" I looked over and the boys were on the ground. They had a pool of blood forming around them, and they weren't moving. "OH MY GOD!!!!!" I screamed. "How did this happen?!" I yelled.

Another voice came from the crowd, "It was broken hearts!"

Then I looked at them, all of the blood was coming from their chests. No where else, just their chest. I broke down into tears and rapped my arms around them "I'm sorry." I whispered, "I love you, please don't leave me. Please don't go."
