The move

Phil's POV

I woke up the next morning and stretched while yawning. I turned to my side smiling as I faced where Dan is. Although,  this time he wasn't there.  A frown replaced my smile, and I then smelt a delicious aroma. I got up and followed the heavenly scent. Once I wound up where it was, the kitchen, I searched to see and find that it's on the counter. I walked over to the stack of pancakes on the counter on a plate, and I noticed a note. I picked it up and read it.

Phil,
Good morning. I hope you slept well, and that you enjoy the pancakes. Today I have made a full day of adventurous quests, for you to do. Once you finish eating head over to the land of the nerds.

I smiled. I thought for a second, about a couple of things. One, why is he doing this ? Two, what does he mean by the land of the nerds ? I fixed up my pancakes as I thought about what the the land of the nerds is.

Once, I finished my pancakes I began to realize what he meant, thinking back to our Christmas video. I placed my dishes into the sink, and began my journey.  I changed into a new pair of clothes that I didn't sleep in, then I grabbed my coat and flat keys and headed off. It was a bit cold outside, so I had to rub my arms to collect body heat. It didn't work very well. I was excited though, as to what today was going to be like. Different, it's going to be different, that's for sure.

I finally arrived to Forbidden Planet. I walked in greatfully as the warmth blanketed me. I searched around with my eyes while standing close to where I came in and tried to find a note, a sign, a letter, something for the next clue. I walked over to the front counter and saw a women in her low to mid twenties at the desk. She looked to be very tired.

"Uhm, hello.", I said with a smile, "Did someone leave a note for me here ? I'm Phil. " I stated thinking he'd put my name on the clue or at least told them my name. She didn't respond at first she just gave me a disapproving scan. I waited, for her to give me an answer.

"Oh." Was all she said at first. I gave her a confused look.

"Oh ?" I asked her. I couldn't understand as to what she meant.

"I thought you were going to be a girl. " she stated sternly. I'm a boy, but so what ?

"Phil can be a girls name ?" I asked. I know,  stupid, but I mean I'm curious.

"I thought maybe it was short for Phillis. " she shrugged. I just shook my head.

"Anyway, did you get a note or something for me ?" I asked getting back to why I was I actually here for in the first place. She didn't look very happy. Not like I was being rude she just didn't seem very approving. She let out a sigh.

"I believe so. Here. " she handed me another note just like the first one. I smiled thanking her as she just rolled her eyes. I ignored her negativity and opened the note reading it,

Phil,
Sorry this one seems to be homophobic...

I chuckled at that in agreement.

...Anyway, for your next location remember that the building belongs to the company and the art work doesn't.

I chuckled shaking my head. I should of saw that one coming. I thanked the lady once again and headed out the door. As I walked down the streets I notied how empty it was. Is it normally this empty, and I'm just now noticing this ? Or am I hallucinating ? Or...or what ? I shrugged it off for now. I arrived at the Google company building. I walked over to the artwork. I looked at it, no note. I walked around it as I looked it up and down.

Oh, he said "and the art doesn't", so I'm guessing the note is on the building. I walked over to the building from the art work. There it was. The note. I smiled as I took it off and opened it then read it.
