Bakugo POV
Today was Denki's birthday, so I wanted to do something sweet and sing him his favorite song. He said he likes my singing voice and the song reminds him of me.
He walked in and I immediately ran up to him and took his hands in mine. I looked up at him as the background music started to play.
He looked at me confused, but still knew what was about to happen as the song continued to play.
"Babe?" He asked. I smiled and started singing to him.
"Candy. You're sweet like candy in my veins~" I sang as I spun us both around.
"Baby, I'm dying for another taste." I sung as I watched a blush creep up on his face.
"And every night my mind is running around you. Thunder is getting louder, and louder." I spoke sweetly as I let go of one of his hands and spun him around.
"Baby you're like lightening in a bottle, I can't let you go now that I got it! And all I need is to be struck, by, your electric love!!" I shouted as I pulled him close and squeezed him close to me.
"Baby your electric love," I sung softly as I pulled away from him.
"You're so sweet Kat." He said cheerfully. I smiled, his words making me happier as I kept singing to him.
"Drown me. You make my heart beat like the rain. Surround me, hold me deep beneath your waves. And every night my mind is runnin' around ya. Thunder's gettin' louder, and louder, and louder." I spoke as I slowly walked away from him and walked to the table where my gift for him was.
"Baby you're like lightening in a bottle, I can't let you go now that I got ya. And all I need is to be struck, by, your electric love!" I yelled as I grabbed the perfectly wrapped gift and ran back up to him.
"Baby your electric love~" I softly sung to him as I handed him the gift.
"Kat, you're so sweet. I love you so much." He said as he took the present from my hands and placed it on the table behind him.
He grabbed my hands and pulled me into a hug. As he pulled away he grabbed my sides and lifted me up, spinning me around in the air. We both laughed as he continuously spun me.
"Rushing through me. Feel your energy rushing through me. I feel your energy rushing through me~." I continued to sing as he placed me back onto the ground.
"Baby you're like lightening in a bottle, I can't let you go now that I got ya. And all I need is to be struck, by, your electric love~!" I sang as I started to blush.
He put his forehead to mine and pressed our noses together.
"Baby, your electric love." I said, barely able to get it out before our lips met.
I felt him smile into the kiss and I couldn't help but smile back, I really wanted him to enjoy this. He held my waist softly and I held his jaw. We pulled away at the same time and he looked at me sweetly.
"I love you so friggin much Kat. Thank you so much for this, it means so much to me." He said as he peppered my face with kisses.
I chuckled continuously until he stopped kissing me.
"Open it." I said as I turned him to the box he placed down.
"You really didn't have to Kat, that song was way more than enough." He said as he tried handing it back to me.
"Nuh-uh. I bought that for you and you're gonna open it at the very least. I want you to keep it though." I said as I handed it back to him.
He sighed and sat down, slowly tearing the colorful Pikachu wrapping paper.
"I see what you did there Kat, very funny." He said sarcastically. I smiled as he threw the paper at me.
I swatted it away and smiled as he started opening the box. He started cranking up as he looked at the piece of clothing. He held up an extremely big Pikachu onesie.
"You can wear that one! I got myself a Charmander one too!" I chuckled as he looked at me with the cutest smile and eyes filled with so much love. (Sorry if I spelled it wrong, I've never played Pokémon)
"That's so adorable Kat, come here." He said as he placed the box and pajamas behind him.
He pulled me to his lap and I yipped at the sudden force. We both smiled as I wrapped my legs around his waist.
"Did you have a good birthday?" I asked as I slung my arms around his neck.
He loosely held my waist and kissed my nose gently.
"The best one ever. Have I told you how much I love you?" He asked as he pulled me closer to him.
I grinned and nodded.
"About three times in the past five minutes." I said.
"Well let's make it four. I love you so friggin much I feel like my heart is gonna burst." He said, scrunching his nose mid-sentence and booping his nose to mine.
I smiled happily as he went back to spreading kisses around my entire face. After about a dozen kisses his lips met mine and we sat there for a minute, just enjoying each other's company and the other's lips on our own.
When I pulled away I looked away from his neck and sighed.
"Hey Kat, you wanna go change into our onesies and watch some movies?" He asked as he slightly pushed me away from him to get my attention.
"Hell yeah." I said simply as I jumped off of his lap and ran for the elevator.
I pressed the button and watched as he swiftly picks up his onesie and ran to me.
"Hey! Wait up!" He yelled as I entered the elevator.
He ran in just as the doors were closing and I started laughing at him as he caught his breath.
"I'll let you off the hook since you just did the kindest and most adorable thing ever. But only this once." He said as he smirked at me.
We walked to my dorm and got changed into our pajamas. We got back to the common room and I made popcorn as Denki set up the movie.
Once I finished the popcorn I walked over and fell onto the couch, only dropping a few pieces of popcorn. Denki sat next to me and I snuggled close to him, offering him some popcorn.
He greatly accepted and we watched the movie peacefully, laughing and making comments when it felt necessary. I was starting to get sleepy, so I leaned against Denki's shoulder.
"Your electric love is all I need. Good night babe. I love you and happy birthday." I said as I closed my eyes.
"Goodnight cupcake, I love you too. Sweet dreams." He said as I felt him wrap his arm around my waist and rub my side.
I smiled and drifted off to sleep.

This song has been stuck in my head all day, then I remembered it was Denki's birthday and this is the first thing I thought of. I loved the way this turned out, though it was kinda rushed since I wanted to get this done before midnight.
Also, this song suddenly makes me want to dance in the rain with someone. Idk why, just suddenly I want to blast this song as I dance in the rain. 🥺👉👈
