3rd POV

Idk how to start this so let's just say Bakugo wasn't taught how to show affection properly. Or at all. So because of that he does what he thinks his mom's version of affection is, which isn't true affection. Instead of giving people hugs or telling them good job, Bakugo hits them upside the head, thinking that's how proper affection works. But after he actually starts doing that, he finds out the hard way that's not how you show affection.

Bakugo was walking down to the common room for breakfast, expecting his squad to be waiting for him downstairs, either already eating breakfast or waiting for him to make them some kind of food. He loved his idiots, though he never showed it. Bakugo figured that he should try to show them so they don't end up leaving cause he doesn't show he cares for them.

Bakugo made up his mind to show his class that he cares for them. He tries to figure out how to prove it, and his mind flashes himself back to all the times his mother harshly smacked him upside the head. That's the only contact he's ever remembered getting from either of his parents, so Bakugo figured that's how to show affection.

Bakugo let a small smile fall onto his lips as he decided that's how he would show he cares and appreciates his friends. Hell, he actually cares about Deku- even if he calls him names and shit- so he might as well show him too.

Bakugo pushes through the stairway doors and walks towards the kitchen counters, seeing his squad sitting around the counters waiting patiently for Bakugo to arrive. Everyone except Mona was eating, she had a bowl of cereal in front of her. He walked up to them and tossed his bag onto the counter next to the fridge.

"What's up Kacchan! What's for breakfast?" Kaminari questioned as he leaned on the counters with his forearms.

"Yeah Blasty, I'm kinda in the mood for pancakes if you don't mind" Kirishima said with his normal happy smile.

"I would be fine with whatever, I'm hungry" Sero chimed in as he nudged Kaminari with his shoulder.

"I'll make pancakes for Shitty Hair and who ever wants them. But I'm having a bagel" Bakugo said as he got out a plain bagel, some butter, and the necessities for pancakes.

Once breakfast was made for everyone, he walked up to Kirishima, placing the plate in front of him and smacking him upside the head. Kirishima jerked forward a bit and looked curiously at Bakugo, but just awkwardly smiled and turned to his pancakes. Bakugo walked back to get the pancakes and did the same thing to Kaminari, who had a different reaction.

"Owie! That hurt Kacchan" Kaminari pouted while he picked up a fork and jabbed his pancakes. Bakugo smiles a bit and grabbed the waffles he made for Sero and Jiro.

The two were looking at him questioningly as he walked over with their plates, wondering if he'd smack them too. When he did they both spoke up.

"What was that for?"

"Jeez okay you could've just said you didn't want to make us food"

Bakugo turned around to make his bagel, smiling slightly as he was internally happy that he was showing that he cares towards his classmates. He wasn't sure why they were making those kinds of comments though. He didn't when his mom did it. Maybe they weren't used to affection.

The squad ate their breakfast and halfway through Aoyama and Uraraka walked by chatting to each other about some new clothes that came out that neither of them could afford. Bakugo finished his food and watched them walk to the couch and sit down, keeping their conversation going.
