your POV:

As soon as Kenma mutters those last few words, my heart starts racing even faster. My mind is bursting with smiley faces and I have to clench my jaw to stop myself from grinning because I'm scared my mouth is gonna rip.

"So, when do you think you can go back?" I cringe, hating to sort of break the moment.

"I don't know," Kenma says softly.

He told me he'd stayed at Kuroo's until he left on Sunday, and he'd been staying at those 24/7 cafes or something, and his data was used up.

"Well, you can stay here for as long as you need to,"

"Would your mom-"

"She knows you're here. You're ok,"

"Really?" his eyes flick up to meet mine. I nod. "Thanks,"

"It's getting late. You can have the bed," I playfully shove him over and he smiles.

"Ok,"

I go onto the mattress topper thing I set up earlier. Kenma lets his hand hang down from the bed and I squeeze it.

"Goodnight, Kenma,"

"Goodnight,"

My eyes flutter open. Kenma stands over me with messy hair and a goofy smile on his face.

"Wake up, sleepy," he grins. "It's almost noon,"

I want to go back to sleep, but I know I really should get up.

"You messed my sleep schedule up,"

"No,  I didn't. I know for a fact that you stay up all the time,"

"Fine," I pull myself up and lean against the bed. "So, what are we doing today?"

"Maybe we should discuss that after you actually stand up," Kenma laughs.

I stand up and yawn. It's 11:48. "Are we gonna eat breakfast?"

"I just got up too, so I'm not that hungry,"

"Yeah. Wanna just get lunch in a few?"

He nods. We lounge around my room and watch a movie or two until about 1. It's great to know that everything's back to normal, and even after the confessions, we're in the exact same spot as before. It's perfectly fine, though. I'm not big on rushing into things, and I'm pretty sure he feels the same way.

"KENMA!!"

"....what?"

"Let's get pizza," I stand up and grin. "NOW!!"

He looks down at the controller in his hand doubtfully. "Pizza does sound good...."

"Right. So let's go,"

I change into a grey top and black skinny jeans and give Kenma the clothes he'd worn last night that I put in the washer overnight. Heading downstairs, I pick up a thick dark green jacket and my keys.

"MOM! WE'RE GETTING LUNCH. BYE,"

Kenma looks at me with amusement. "Do you have to yell?"

"Yes. She's always upstairs and she never hears anything I say,"

"Ah,"

We order a large pizza and end up only finishing a little more than half.

"Ok. So what are we doing today??" I ask again.
