part 19; he's (not) gonna love this

hiii this is the author lol i know everyone hates reading author's notes but i just wanted to say sorry that these last few chapters have been really bad. this one's very bad and short too, and the next one might be bad too lol. idk why im having such a hard time, but thank you for 500+ reads!  

y/n's POV:

y/n: kenma

y/n: kenma

kenma: what

y/n: i have an idea

kenma: oh no

kenma: this involves me leaving my 

house right now, right?

y/n: mind reader 

kenma: not gonna happen

y/n: even if it means we can have our faces 

printed on a volleyball to troll kuroo?

kenma: tell me more

y/n: knew youd be interested

y/n: i was thinking about a grad gift

y/n: for kuroo

y/n: and i saw this place that does these

custom sports equipment things

y/n: i called them and asked if they could

get a picture printed on a ball. 

y/n: they said they'd have it ready by 8 pm tmw

kenma: for kuro?

y/n: yea lol itd be funny

kenma: lets do it

y/n: !!!

y/n: im actually on ur porch rn

y/n: so come downstairs whenever ur ready

kenma: wtf

Approximately 2 minutes later, the door swings open and Kenma stands outside in sweatpants and a white shirt. We go to the bus stop and go to the mall. The dude in the store asks us about the picture, and tells us to step over into some photo place. He takes a camera out and tells us to smile or whatever. Instead, I make an exaggerated happy face and shove my face up close to the camera, and Kenma stays a little behind and makes a peace sign and that dull face he usually wears when he meets strangers. If our strange poses affected the picture guy, he didn't let on and took the photos. Later, he makes us pick a picture and I hand a volleyball over. It's white, and the ridges are smoother than normal ones.  

"Come back tomorrow," 

It wasn't that cheap, but Kenma and I split and it worked out well. After refusing to let me stop by some stores, he drags me to the bus stop. 

"I'm tired," 

"I know. So am I,"

"Think he'll like it?"

"He'll hate it," he grins.

"I know. That's why I wanted it,"
