y/n: ok

I put my phone down and get up from my beanbag. The sweats and shirt I have on now are fine, so I just grab and jacket hanging over my chair and rush out. Going downstairs, the stairs are creakier than I'd hoped, but my mom doesn't wake up. When I open the door, Kenma's standing outside with a backpack and a grin.

"Hey,"

"Hi," I grump. "You sure this couldn't wait until morning?"

"Nope. Had to see you now,"

"Why?"

"Because I missed you,"

"Shut up," I elbow him. "Where are we going? Arcade?"

"Nope,"

He doesn't elaborate and just holds me by the wrist and starts to walk.

"I don't think this is safe. We're probably gonna get abducted,"

He ignores me and continues to walk. After about half an hour of walking a path I'd never really gone on, we stop at a grassy knoll thing. The streetlight doesn't quite reach the hill, so Kenma pulls a flashlight out of his bag and starts to walk uphill.

"This," he says, taking a few blanket things out of his bag, "is one of the best spots to watch the sunrise,"

"Oh?"

"I used to come here alone all the time. I don't really like being outside, but this place has surprisingly good signal,"

"Noted,"

We lie on the floor, just talking and laughing for hours, until his arms find their way around me, and he kisses me. Gently, at first, but growing more and more intense and passionate with every second.

"Ok, enough," I laugh and roll off of Kenma's chest, and Kenma pouts at me when our lips part. "The sun's rising. We're gonna miss it,"

I lie on the grass next to him and lean my head against his shoulder. Instead of watching as the sun slowly peeks out from a building, I stare at him. I stare at his pretty features that sit perfectly on his face. I stare at his startling golden cat eyes. I stare at him until he turns to face me.

"What?"

"Can I ask you something?" Something's been on my mind for the longest time and it's been bothering me ever since.

"Yeah. Always,"

"But it's like, heavy,"

"I can take it," I know he can.
