"can you please keep still? i'm trying to take your temperature!" jynne scolds. you giggle as you shift in your chair. everyone on the finalizer in a position of power had to had weekly checkups. kylo took peoples health very seriously. especially ever since rey found luke skywalker, everyone has to be at the top of their game. apparently that means getting your knee smacked and keeping up with their immunizations.

"sorry, doctor j! this just makes me uncomfortable!" you respond.

"what? personal attention?" she asked. you couldnt tell if she was being sarcastic but with what you knew about her, she didnt have to social skills to pick up on sarcasm.

"very funny. being probed is awkward!" you continued to squirm. she lifted up her hand as though you were a child and she was going to reprimand you. you gave her a confused look and she eyed your saber. she laughed nervously and went back to trying to force her thermometer in your mouth.

finally she gave you an exasperated look and crossed her arms. "i'm sure you wouldnt mind being probed by commander ren!" she was definitely not being sarcastic.

you went from smiling to scowling. "youre lucky that i like you because man, i would so LOVE to hurt you right now, twi'lek!"

"if you would just sit down and shut up, you could get back to your work. or whatever the hell you do here." you gave her a shocked look, but she had a point, what the hell did you do all day? other than waiting around to stir up drama. under her breath she muttered, "i was right anyway."

"are you gonna continue to be sassy or can i tell you about our walk around the ship?" you rolled your eyes at her.

she gave you a loving look. "okay, okay. i wanna hear all about it!"

"he was being kind of an asshole but like a week straight. then all of a sudden, he like completely changed his attitude. got rid of that retched creature he was using. and then he came to my quarters. of course i acted like i was pissed at first, because like does he deserve me? no. anyway, we walked around the ship and he was asking me all these personal questions. it was a really vulnerable moment for me. then he dropped me back off at my room and i couldnt stop thinking about him. but...." you trailed off, remember the voice from last night.

"but?" jynne asked. her eyes were wide with curiosity. she had even put down the thermometer and stopped fighting you so she could listen.

"someone contacted me last night. i cant talk about it." you sighed, reminiscing. your feelings were too conflicted. talking about would make it too real. you just had to change the subject. "anyway, doctor j, do you have eyes for anyone?"

"i have eyes for everyone. two of them!" she looked so proud. you realized she had to no idea what you were alluding to.

"oh stars! that is not what i mean. i mean feelings. do you have feelings for anyone?"

"there is this one person. they come in every week for their checkup and they always ask for me. i cannot get up the nerve to make any conversation, but they make me so nervous!"

"j, tell me now!" you were on the edge of your seat.

"general hux!" she responded. your eyebrows shot up in surprise. sure huxxie was your best friend but thats because he actually talked to you. no one liked hux. literally, no one. it was a shock to hear anyone say they dont hate hux, let alone have feelings for him.

"i have an idea! how about i set the two of you up?" you beamed.

"oh i dont know, honey. why would he wanna be associated with some twi'lek from the med bay?" she looked sad.

"doc, youre gorgeous! just let me talk to him for you! he could really use other friends!" your eyes shot to the clock. "hes in the lunchroom right about now. if i run, i'll catch him before he leaves!"

"okay..i guess... you better be back to finish your checkup!" she yelled, but you had already ran away. you were totally sincere but you would also do anything to get out of these damn doctor visits.

as you sprinted into the lunchroom, you noticed hux on his way out, throwing the contents of his lunch into the trash. out of breath, you practically slammed into him.

"huxxie!" you said, with the best smile you could for being out of breath.

"hey!" he smiled back at you. he looked up at the clock. "i'm about to go back to the main hangar but it was great to see you!"

"wait!" you shouted as he started to walk away. he turned around with urgency.

"yes? i'm very busy!" he said as he looked back up to the clock. "kylo ren will be very disappointed if im not on time!"

"i own kylo ren. besides, since when are you scared of ole rennie?" you laughed and he smiled desperately. without using words he was trying to rush the conversation. "anyway, you know that twi'lek in the med bay?"

he nodded.

"i think you should ask her on a date! no offense, but you both are very lonely people and..."

"okay, thanks! bye!" hux rushed off. the entire time you were talking he was looking at something behind you. you found it very distracting but you assumed it was just another clock. but hux rushed off way too fast, like someone was threatening him from behind you. turns out it was a very astute observation.

as you turned around, across the lunchroom, you saw kylo ren in the doorway to the now empty kitchen. he was almost taller than the doorframe. you gawked at his beauty. he was smirking at you from across the room. his dark eyes were narrowed menacingly like he knew something you didnt. with his gloved hand, he pointed for you to meet him into the kitchen. you followed suit, wondering what those leather gloves would taste like. he walked into the room first and stood by the door. you walked further into the room, so he was behind you. you heard the door slam behind you. your breath is hitched and the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.

suddenly, you feel a leather glove on the back of your neck which snatches you backward. he tilts your head back so he can see your face. you knew you were in trouble and were about to be punished but you didnt know what for.

"did you see the doctor today?" he asks.

"yes." you croak out, breathlessly.

"yes, what?" the grip around your neck tightens.

"sir. yes, sir," you manage to spit out. his grip is so tight that you cant swallow, so you're almost drooling at this point.

he takes his hand off your neck. he grabs you by your waist and props you up on a nearby table. your legs are spread a little and he's standing in between them looking down at you. you're so close that you're practically toughing. he puts his grip back around the back of your neck, taking some hair with him this time. he tilts your head upward so you're looking at each other. his grip is much more loose this time because he knows you're fully submitted and will not resist.

"we have a little problem on our hands." he says angrily. you give him wondering eyes. "you don't know?" you shake your head at him. his grip tightens a little as though he's mad that you haven't read his mind. "i heard you've been thinking of someone else."

you thought back to your conversation with doctor j. had he been listening. "no sir." you replied.

"now you're lying!" he practically screamed but quickly collected his composure. "do i need to treat you like a criminal? do you need to be punished?"

you shook your head. "yes sir."

"i thought so." he lets go of your hair and neck, but you look up at him anyway. he's almost smiling but still remaining stoic. he lowers his body so that you are face to face with him. hes so close that you can feel the breath escape his lips and heat your face. his gloved hand caresses your face and then a finger touches your lips. "i'll be by your quarters later. and be a good girl for me."
