"Tiff baby come down stairs and set the table our guest will be here soon"

I looked in the mirror and smoothed down my dress.

After making sure I was set I made my way downstairs to help my mother.

"No tiff get rid of those other two plates,its only going to be four of us"my mother said smacking my arm.

I then remembered my mom saying that a friend of hers from work and their child was coming over.

"I'm sorry Ma"I picked up the two plates just as the doorbell rung.

"Tiff get the door for me please"I walked over to the kitchen counter and set down the plates.

I licked my lips as I opened the door "hi I'm-"I stopped in mid sentence when I saw Brandon and his mom standing there.

"Oh hi Tiffany sweetie small world I see"she pulled me in a hug with a smile on her face.

I returned the gesture and invited them inside.

"Hey Patricia,this is my daughter tif-"

"We met earlier today her and Brandon our friends"

Ms.Patricia said cutting my mom off causing Brandon to scoff when she mentioned the friend part.

"Oh well no need for any introductions I see"

After dinner my mom and Brandon's mom went into my moms woman cave to have drinks and talk.

While me and Brandon on the other hand say in the living room incomplete silence as family matters played on the t.v.

"Bran please talk to me"I spoke up breaking the silence.

"Tiff what you want me to say?"

"I want you to say you understand me"

He turned his body so he was looking directly at me.

"Hell no! I'm not going to say that because I don't understand you I wanna be with you but you playing"

I scooted closer to him and pouted "you know I wanna be with you Brandon,and if you asked me to be yours right now you know I would say yes"

"Aight"he began as he grabbed my hands.

"Tiffany Marie Williams will you do me the honor of being my girl?"

"Of course you my lil'boo"I leaned over and placed a kiss on his lips.

"That's what's up"he leaned back over and pulled me into his embrace.

"Gimmie some more sugga"he whispered.

I did as told and began kissing his lips again,we were in a full blown kissing session until we heard someone clear their throat.

We pulled back to our mothers looking at us with stern looks on their faces.

I blushed and buried myself in Brandon's chest "look at her Patricia trying to shy away"my mother said.

"Mm I see them Shannon come on Brandon I'll see you later Ms.tiffany"

I waved goodbye and sneaked a kiss on Brandon's lips.

"Bye my lil hoochie"

I smacked my lips and mushed his head after he gave my mom a hug.

"Ain't y'all cute,but goodnight I'm taking my tired ass to bed"

I laughed and kissed my mothers cheek "goodnight mommy"
