[A few drops of sweat, cummulated on your forehead, fall down on the cemented road, making dark grey spots. You had stopped to catch some breath before you use all your oxygen to run a few more meters.
Four years ago, you wouldnt have had the ability to sprint as fast as you can now. You've gotten used to running to your university every morning to make it there on time, for you do not have the word 'schedule' in your dictionary. You sleep late, wake up late, arrive at the uni late but reach your class on time (the regular sprint seem to have improved your speed). There isnt a fixed time for anything in your life and you hate that you are so unorganised.
You finally reach your destination. You pant as you open the glass door, triggering the bell chimes, which mark your arrival to the employees of The Bangtan Bar.
"am I late?"
you ask with your hands on your waste, still catching your breath.
"yep" says jimin, whilst arranging the chairs.
"damn it" you mumble.
They had organised a small opening ceremony where they cut a ribbon and sing. Apparently, you missed it; you had stopped for a beer while you were returning home from your university.
Jin and the boys took care of the interiors, as jennie didnt respond to your offer yet, and were opening the bar for customers today. You insisted to help them on their first day and applied for any job you could get at this bar. You dont need money, you need something to keep you sane, something which, for once, gains your interest.
You scrutinise the place, looking at the boys' hardwork. They did the best they could and it was pretty vivid. Some parts of the bar were overly decorated, while some were totally bland. Then there was a wall which once had 'the blueberry bar' painted on it in an elegant font which was now replaced by 'the bangtan bar', except 'bangtan' was written on a white chartpaper which covered the word 'blueberry'.
atleast they tried.
"who dEcOrAtEd that wall?" you ask with a chuckle, double qouoting the word 'decorated'.
"why, got a problem with that?" a low voice speaks from the counter in an intimidating tone.
silence.
you shift your eyes to the guy right behind yoongi who shakes his head slightly, totally gesturing you to not argue with this raven haired man who wears the same blank face whenever you see him.
"uh... no... just wanted to compliment the artist" you laugh nervously. "i-it's really beautiful" you say, glancing at jungkook who probably saved you from an argument with min yoongi, and make your way towards the kitchen to grab your apron. on your way, you notice hobi stiffling his laugh with his hand clasped on his mouth. he bursts out laughing when you give him 'the look'.
"oh god" you sigh.
Jin's interest is more inclined towards the idea of opening a restaurant so, according to his calculations, the current bar will gradually have more food options once they've earned enough to order some more food supplies. After spamming jin with requests to let you help him with the bar for free, he finally agreed to give you hobi's job so hobi could take over the bartender's job and jungkook could do all the cooking along with him.
