Reader's POV:
It's been exactly 2 weeks since I've been in Miyagi. And Nana, Oh yea, I started calling her Nana, instead of Rei, she said it was fine. I mean if you call your grandma by her first name after a while, it kinda starts to get awkward, for me at least. So Nana is not what I expected.
I learned a lot about Nana's store, and Nana herself.
First, she keeps a bat under the counter, near the cashier spot. When I found it I asked her what she needed it for, and she said, "To keep the thugs out duh," I scrunch my face up.
"Thugs?" I asked.
"Yes, they're all over this area, thugs have blonde hair and piercings. So stay away from those people." She pointed her finger at me. " One time a youngster, about your age, came here. He had blonde hair, and a tongue piercing, which I think is gross. So I swatted him with a bat." I was holding back my laughter. "Then another time a young man came in, claiming he wanted some sweet bread for his mother. But he had blonde hair that was pulled back and a couple of ear piercings. So the bat with him." I started to laugh.
"No more, no more. You shouldn't judge people by their appearance Nana." I said between my giggles. Nana smiled at me and told me more about the shop, and who the regular customers are.
"Oooooo~ let me tell you there are some fine men in your generation. There are these two boys who come here often. One who comes for milk bread, and the other for strawberry shortcake. I miss my teenage years, you should see them sometime, then you'll understand~" She smirked at me.
I just shrugged, " Whatever you say, Nana." I walked away, I'm not really looking for a relationship, and besides, I only have one friend, Shoyou. I haven't texted him in so long, he's probably busy with training for volleyball. I giggled to myself, I miss him.

Ring Ring Get Up!
I woke up to the sound of my phone alarm. Yes, that is my alarm. I sat up from my bed and stretched my arms over my head. I went outside of my room to the bathroom. After about 30 minutes, I was presentable.
I walked downstairs and found Nana on her phone watching something. I walked behind her, and when I saw what she was watching I gasped.
"You watch anime, Nana?!?"
She looked at me and smirked. "Since forever, when can't a lady like myself watch anime~" We started to talk about anime, and turns it out we've watched some of the same ones. We fangirled to each other for about an hour, and then changed the subject.
"Oh that reminds me, I have a rival store and I need you to try their product, to see why they are so good." I squinted my eyes at her, and she only gave me a smirk. I sighed, "I can never get a read on you, but fine sure, let me change out of my pajamas, and I'll get my bike."
After changing, Nana told me that her rival was a convenience store, named Sakanoshita. They were known for their meat buns.
My stomach growled, I was currently on my bike on the way to the store. When I was moving, I didn't ride my bike to Miyagi because I was lazy, so I just let the movers take it with the rest of my stuff.
When I'm out of my trance, I'm in front of the Sakanoshita store. There are 4 vending machines outside. I put my bike up against the red vending machine.
I walk to the front door, and notice a paper sticking on it, I read as follows
'We're looking for people who want a job, come inside for details.' It was poorly written too. And straight to the point.
