"Don't move your hand unnecessarily!" she scolded me for the nth time after starting to help me with this subject and I stared at her without saying any word before trying again.
"Are you guys going to skip your lunch?" Abhi asked and I felt it is an angel voice that is here to save me.
"I am not going to but she is going to if she keeps doing it wrong." Her cold reply washed away the happiness I just felt.
I didn't even glance at anyone before trying again to draw properly but fell short. It's been a week and there is no improvement at all but there is an improvement in her scoldings.
After the lunch break, I found everyone waiting for me but I just sighed packing my stuff to go to my class and felt relieved that I didn't buy lunch ahead which could have been a waste.
"Are you going to starve? What if you feel hungry?" Kalyan asked frowning at me.
"It's okay! Her words were more than enough. I need a diet plan to digest them first." I replied standing up before glancing at Rekha.
"We have practice today. Remember?" I asked and her face finally got filled with panic hearing that but I just walked away ignoring her look.
"You should have been a bit nice to her. Now, you can enjoy the effects of it." Vikesh commented behind me as advice to her and I smiled hearing that.
"Are you really not hungry? We can go to class after some time and say some excuse to the lecturer." Kavitha asked with a worried face.
"I don't want to miss this class at all. Don't you know who is coming today?" I asked smirking and she laughed seeing my expression.
"Are you going to make your third target a teaching assistant?" she asked shaking her head while I shrugged at her question.
"He is handsome and everything but not going to think such manner. I am fond of the knowledge he has for the computers and the way he shares them. Not at all in that way and so don't say like that mainly before others." I explained but she still has a suspicious look.
"I know you respect him but don't forget the scandal that happened because of him. He scares me a bit even though all these were just rumors from the seniors." She mumbled and I sighed.
It's true! He has too much knowledge about everything but many don't approach him to learn that because of some stupid incident that happened a few years back.
"Anyway, we are going to have exams soon and I need to make sure not to fail on this subject. My parents are fine with average marks but if I fail then my mom can bring the house down into ruins. She is still mad from the past few years that I didn't choose medicine." I explained and she chuckled nodding.
I sat excitedly for the class to start knowing well our main lecturer will not be attending and will just send his assistant who is way better right now to teach us.
I know everyone has their prejudice against him but even I have a prejudice against the other party that is involved in that incident. So, I can't be mad at them when I am doing the same and it's their loss to ignore their knowledge.
"I heard he is going to be a full-time lecturer soon." She whispered beside me and I smiled brightly hearing that as he deserves that.
****
"That's it for today." I said walking towards the place where we placed our bags and found no one around us.
"Are you going light on me thinking I will do the same while teaching you?" I heard her voice from the place I just walked from.
