chapter 3

jisoo's pov

~time skip 3 hours~

I open the door to my house. My mom and dad are both home for some reason. Weird. I close the door and sit down on the couch, eyeing my parents. I pull my homework out of my backpack... that is until my mom clears her throat.

"Jisoo, can you come over here for a second? We need to talk to you about something." She beckons me over. "Alright, alright I'm coming. What is it?" I ask once I sit down.
My parents look at each other.

"As we all know, you're doing great in all your classes and we're so proud of you for that... but," my dad pauses and looks at my mom. She sighs. "But your teacher called today and notified us that you're failing. We're not mad about it but we'd like you to get your grade up." My mom finishes.

I sigh. "Yeah, alright that's fair.... am I getting a tutor or....?" I ask them. My parents smile at me. "Yes!" My mom says. "Your teacher told us that you work really well with this girl in class... uh Rosé!"

My jaw drops. "Rosé??! Rosé Park???" I yell. My parents get startled but smile. "Yeah! What, do you think she's cute?"

I look down and nod. My parents know I'm a raging homo. "Yeah.. I've always thought she was cute but I never knew she was gay till today.. I actually have a chance."

I smile and my parents laugh. "Well now you have a chance to get closer to her! Your first lesson starts tomorrow after school." I nod my head. "Can I go do my homework now?"
They say yes so I quickly get up and grab my stuff, running upstairs.

As soon as I make it to my room, I grab my phone and call Lisa to tell her.

rosé's pov

"WHAT?? What do you mean I have to tutor Jisoo??" I ask into the phone. My teacher just called me to tell me that Jisoo needs a math tutor and I was picked.

"What I mean, is that tomorrow after school, you and Jisoo will go to a location of your choice for you to teach her math and make sure she understands. You guys seem to work well together.... and I see the way you look at her!" My teacher explains.

I blush and roll my eyes.

"Okay. I guess I don't have a choice. Thank you, Miss Kay. Bye bye." I hang up and throw my phone on my bed. I'm 100% gonna make a fool of myself. It's one thing helping Jisoo on one math problem in class, but one on one time at quiet places... oh god.

I pick up my phone and call Jennie. "Come over before I have a gay freak out. Bring the ice cream." Before Jennie can say anything, I hang up.

Fuck. I can't do this.

I decide to finish my homework to distract me. I finish my psychology homework before Jennie runs into my room. "Okay what's wrong with you? The last time you had this bad of a gay breakdown was when you found out Jisoo was gay. And that was last year."

I turn around and look at her. "I just found out I have to tutor Jisoo in math starting tomorrow ." After those words, Jennie just shook her head and handed me the ice cream. "Enough said. Now! Let's pick out your outfit for tomorrow!"
