Charlie walked into the cortex messing with his damp hair. Caitlin sent him to get cleaned up and changed so that Cisco could run analysis on the suit he was wearing. "It's been a while since I had a hot shower." Charlie said looking at his reflection. Cisco and Caitlin both sat in the lab looking at the teen as he walked around looking at the cortex. "I didn't know Ronnie had a brother. Looking at him makes me feel old..." Caitlin gave Cisco a weird look while Cisco continued to watch the visitor. He then realized his colleague was staring and said, "What! I'm just saying that we don't have teenagers in this place alot". Caitlin smiled as Cisco got back to his tests on the suit.

High heels echoed through the hallway as the team leader walked in. "Morning Cisco, Caitlin, and...stranger..." Iris said as she stopped behind the computer. "Hi I'm Charlie, Charlie Raymond." The teen said with a smile and his hand extended. Iris smiled and shook his hand as she introduced herself. "Iris West-Allen...and this is by husband Barry." She said as Barry wallked in. Iris smiled as she pulled a confused husband into the side lab. "Okay who is that." Iris asked. Cisco quickly answered, "That is brother Charlie Raymond".

"Yes I know you didn't know he had one but he does. He is here to get help about his meta abilities and he doesn't know about us." Caitlin said with eyes on her. "Well it can't be that bad. How hard will it be to teach him a thing or two?" Barry said looking back at the teen. They all watched as Charlie watched the cameras on the screens.

All of them walked out into the Cortex and Charlie stood up at everyone walking in. "So Charlie, let's see what you can do." Iris said as she walked into the hall. Charlie and the team followed her down to a open warehouse like room. Several cardboard cut outs of the team were already standing but some had burn marks in them. "Whenever your ready Charlie" Barry yelled from the platform behind him. Charlie rolled his head, shook out his arms and legs, and took a deep breath. With a flick of his wrist his head and heads ignited with a blue flame. He threw several fireballs at the targets hitting some in the chest and head with good accuracy. His flames then settled as his hands began to fog up. Spikes of ice shot from his plans and punctured through other targets.

He turned and smiled at his almost perfect shot records and found the entire team looking at him with concern. Charlie walked over to the platform and met Cisco at the bottom of it with sensors. He tapped on his tablet and then said, "So uh, were you and Ronnie close"? He looked up at Caitlin who wasn't paying attention and replied, "Uh not as close as I wish we were..." Cisco felt bad for the kid then said, "Well if it helps, you kind of remind me of him. I looked up to him like a brother too". Charlie smiled as he finished up.

"Uh Charlie, how did you get your powers?" Barry asked leaning over the guard rail. Caitlin's eyes widened and looked at her son. "Well I was in metropolis for a graduation trip when some trigger happy guy blasted a chemical truck. When it blew up several people were killed and some of us ended up in ICU at the hospital. I guess whatever was in that truck gave me these powers." Charlie said with truth in his story. "Honestly it's metropolis, anything can happen there." Cisco said as he ascended back on the platform.

Charlie was ready to go again when all of a sudden a loud sound went of in his head. Charlie collapsed to the sounds in his head, screaming and hold his head as if he couldn't contain something. The team ran down to the teenager as he thrashed around in pain. "Charlie what's wrong talk to us!" Barry said holding him down. A distorted voice sounded from his mouth as Charlie tried to speak. "Their in my hea- let me out- hel- let us- !" Charlie said when suddenly he burst into flames. On and off his body would ignite into an inferno then chill into a ice sculpture uncontrollably.

While in his cold from he screamed, "Hailstorm" and in his fire from he yelled, "Killer Flame" both in different versions of his distorted voice. Until he finally stopped. Charlie was still on the floor unconscious. Barry sped Charlie to the med bay along with Caitlin so she could figure out what had happened. Once everyone got back to the cortex, Caitlin finished her examination. "He is stable for now, but he is in a coma like stasis. Whatever was happening in his head seemed to cause the body to temporarily shut down." Caitlin said looking at him. "Do Hailstorm or Killer Flame mean anything to you that you can think of?" Iris asked. Caitlin shook her head. "The only way to know what is happening is to either wait for him to wake up or get in his head." Caitlin said.

Barry ran out of the room and with in a few seconds he was back with Cecile standing next to him confused. "Barry I told you not to pull me out of the office wtihout warning!" She said before looking at the teen. "Sorry Cecile, but we need your powers to get into Charlie's head." Barry said. "Fine but a phone call would still help." Cecile said as she walked next to the comatose patient. She shut her eyes and let her empathy take hold. "He is conflicted. It's like they're different people in his head feeling something. He is scared... angry... sorry... he is splitting?" Cecile said with confusion. Caitlin then spoke up and said, "Multiple personality disorder".
