"Na please don't tell me we gotta deal with another person who can't deal with the voices in their head!" Cisco said. "Watch it!" A distorted voice said. Caitlin quickly resorted to her human look. "Sorry, she surprised me." Caitlin waved. Cecile gasped and began to panic. The emotion from Charlie and his counterpart was beginning to effect the court official. Barry took her out of the room for her to calm down. Cisco then looked at Caitlin and said, "No offense when I say this but you know about Split personalities from experience, so what do we do"? Cisco felt Frost glaring at him from within her mind and took a step back.
"Well first we need to make contact with them... Figure out who they are, what they want." Caitlin said looking down at her child. "Wait, you say they as in plural." Iris pointed out. "Well with all cases of multiple personalities, the number of voices is different per case. And even then, the voices can cross gender lines and other habits." Caitlin said trying to explain her choice of words. "Okay then that means we just got one crazy to deal with, good." Cisco said feeling relaxed. "I don't think so, based on the emotions Cecile felt I think there are three in all. One is Charlie of course, but I am guessing that Hailstorm and Killer Flame are not just random words..." Caitlin said biting her lip. "They are other personalities..." Iris finished with stress on her face. Caitlin nodded in agreement.
"Okay, I am going to go tell Barry, Cisco go over the test runs, and Caitlin see if you can keep him stable and maybe wake him up." Iris said walking out with Cisco behind her. Caitlin then held the teens hand feeling the surge of panic and worry she felt when Ronny flew into the singularity, but this time as a mother.
The day had passed and Caitlin had fallen asleep next to Charlie. Cisco walked in and saw the stress in her sleep, but he didn't want to wake up the scientist. He smiled and left the facility leaving the two in the med bay. Hours later a deep breath from Dr. Snow sounded as she woke up. She looked at the time and saw that she had spent the night in the med bay next to Charlie. She looked up to see an empty bed and water on the floor. She jumped out of the chair and ran into the cortex to look at the cameras. She saw a figure walking toward the exit and quickly made her way down the hall. "Charlie!" Caitlin yelled at the figure. The boy stoped and turned his head to reveal a frozen face with piercing blue eyes. Caitlin heard steps behind her and turned to see a white eyed flame standing their.
Caitlin stood still and looked back and forth at the two elementals. The ball of fire blasted towards the ice sculpture. Caitlin moved out of the way and watched as their blasts collided. She watched as the cross fire canceled eachother out, but she realized that the two forms were trying to stop. She saw them being pulled closer together as if the center of their blast were sucking them towards it. Soon enough their hands not only met but merged together into a singular hand. Both entities screamed until a final blast merged them completely leaving one body standing. "Charlie!" Caitlin yelled as she ran to catch the teenager. Being taller than her his weight was a challenge but soon he used her as a crutch, regaining consciousness. "That was the single most painful thing I have ever been through." Charlie said sluring his words. Caitlin laughed as they made their way back to the med bay.
When morning came, so did team flash. Cisco, Barry, and Iris all walked in to see Charlie and Caitlin playing chess in her little lab. "Morning you two, glad to see everyone awake." Iris said with a smile. Caitlin stood up and took them to the cameras to watch the earlier events unfold. After watching the footage Caitlin explained, "Some how Charlie is able to do the opposite of what Ronnie could do, allowing his personalities to preform nuclear fission and give them a physical and identical body. The only difference is that one is ice and the other is fire a.k.a. Hailstorm and Killer Flame."
"Why is it always the mental ones that come up with the best nicknames!?" Cisco said. "Actually his sudden outburst was only due to instability in his Coldfire sequence...the separation and merging stabilized his body and his powers." Caitlin said smiling. Barry then confused asked, "Coldfire sequence..."? Caitlin was mentally slapped by Frost when Charlie walked in. "I came up with that. I heard Ronnie had something called the Firestorm matrix...I just wanted something to sound as cool as his." Charlie said holding back the truth.
The team split up and soon Caitlin met Cisco in his workshop. "Hey! I was meaning to ask you something." Cisco said. "I saw you last night sleeping next to Charlie. I know that he is Ronnie's brother, but it seems like there is more to it..." Cisco said making Caitlin nervous. "It's just...he has a connection to Ronnie that none of us have. He reminds me so much of Ronnie but it's not him...I just need to adjust." Caitlin said not even realizing the truth behind her words. "It's okay I get what you mean." Cisco said understanding her words. Caitlin began to walk out before stopping and saying, "Oh and one more thing...". Cisco felt the cold hands of Frost grab his collar and pull him close to her face. "The next time I hear you call multiple personalities crazy, mental, or nut cases again I will freeze some very delicate parts, and I don't mean the ones in this workshop!" The ice queen said with frost blowing in her face. The white haired maiden the walked out leaving a very scared Cisco in his chair.
