Not a toy but love to play

Chapter 11

"So what are we doing tonight?" I asked Ashton. "Good try, but I'm not telling you princess." he said grinning.

"It's a surprise."

"But I wanna know." I whined. "Gosh, you're worse than your siblings." I gasped. "Am not!" I said glaring at him. "Yeah, you are. We're here." he said as he parked the car. We got out of the car and walked to the girl's class.

"Hi Julia." I waved at her. "Lexa, Ashton." She said grinning at us. "Nova, Nala your sister's here with her boyfriend." she called. I rolled my eyes playfully as the girls ran out of class. They each gave us a big hug before getting their bags. "Bye Julia!" the twins called as we left, I waved at her. We got in the car, picked up Elija and drove home.

"Go do your homework upstairs, I'll call you when dinner's ready." I said to the girls. Ashton helped me a lot past months, I let the girls downstairs more often. They still had to lock their rooms but they seemed to enjoy this a lot more.

I started making dinner as Ashton sat down with Elija on his lap. My mother had been in her room these past months a lot but I didn't mind. I still brought her food which she fortunately ate.

After dinner the girls made their bags, which Ashton helped them with, as I made Elija's. We got in the car and drove away.

"See you tomorrow!" I called. "Bye!" they yelled as Ashton and I drove away. We had just dropped them off at Carol's. I had another fight tonight but after that Ashton was going to take me somewhere.

"Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the dark arena!" the presenter yelled. "Tonight we have one of your favorites, our living time bomb herself. I present you; RAVEN!" I ran in the ring and threw my fists in the air. "Our special guest tonight, the one and only; ROXANNE." she walked in the ring and glared at me.

The presenter quickly explained the fight as we got into position. I scanned her body for weaknesses of which I found three; a light bruise on her right knee, an almost healed cut on her stomach and a scar on her left elbow that could only mean she'd already been injured here before.

The familiar sound of the bell rang through the arena signaling the fight had begun. She immediately tried to attack me but I dodged her and got the chance to punch her in the stomach. She let out a huff before focusing on me again.

We circled each other before I punched her in the face. She didn't flinch and immediately punched back. I didn't have time to block it so I got it full in the face. I didn't show any pain as I punched her again. She fell backwards and I sat on top of her. We punched each other a few times before she finally gave up.

Well that was easy. I thought as the presenter held up my hand. I walked out of the ring to my changing room, where Ashton was waiting for me. "Hey handsome." I said as I walked over to him. "Hey, princess." he said kissing me on the lips. "I'm going to change and then I'm ready for your surprise." I said turning around. "Great, I'll see you in a sec."

I got ready and left my changing room. "Raven? Boss wants to see you." one of mrs. G's guys informed me. I nodded and walked over to her office, Ashton right behind me. "Mrs. G? You wanted to see me?" I asked cautiously. "Yes. There's someone who wants to buy you." mrs. G exclaimed. "Buy me?" I blinked in surprise. "Yes, his name is Antonio Swedenhoff." she informed me pointing at a man left of her.

When I looked at the man I immediately recognized his mysterious eyes. "You?" I blurted out. "Hello Raven." the man said casually. "I'm sorry but I'm not for sale." I pointed out. Antonio laughed quietly.

"You don't have a choice." Antonio exclaimed. "Oh, I think I do." I retorted. I kicked Antonio where the sun ain't shine and turned to mrs. G. "Sorry mrs. G, but I quit." I said pleasantly. She winked at me and pointed at the door. I ran out with Ashton's hand in mine. "They're getting away! Find them!" I heard Antonio yell just before we got in the elevator.

The security found us quickly but we were faster. We hopped in the car and drove away. Once we'd caught our breath again we looked at each other and burst out laughing. "That was so funny." Ash exclaimed. "Did you see his face?" I chortled. "Ooh, man."

"Hey can we make a quick stop at home? I forgot my jacket." I asked Ashton. "Sure." he answered simply.

After about 20 minutes we got home and Ashton parked the car. "I'll be right back." I hopped out of the car and walked to the front door. The house was dark and cold, but I didn't really think anything of it. I walked around the corner to see my mom's figure standing there. I screamed in surprise before I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. Everything went black after that.
