what would i say?

if i could
speak to you
just one more time
what would i say?

i might tell you
how you broke my heart
and caused me
so much pain.

i might tell you
that despite everything
i'm still obsessed
with all of you.

i might tell you
that i don't need you
but that would be
a complete lie.

i might tell you
that you look
just as captivating
as ever.

i might tell you
that you are a jerk
and you do not deserve
my time and energy.

i might tell you
that i've thought about you
every night
and every day.

i might tell you
that if you still want me
you will have to
work for it.

i might tell you
how i am still
completely and utterly
in love with you.
