it was obvious that the other had a soft spot for her. she would choose her words carefully, show more affection and was more sensitive with emotions - only around her. she enjoyed receiving this special treatment. it made her feel loved by the other.
but as much as she liked it, she hated it as well. she didn't know what it meant. stop being so nice to me.
