"you know, i used to like you."
"oh really? i used to like you too."
"you're not too discreet about it yourself. i knew from the beginning."
she was right. the other liked her. and she told her a white lie - that she liked her as well. she could not tell her the truth. what hurt the most was that the other knew how she felt from the start.
if one of us said something, would things be different? why tell me now, when what you felt faded?
