when she got mad, she would rant to the other until all the anger inside her subsided. the other would sit next to her and listen to every word she said with her fullest attention. she never once interrupted her.
and when she was done, she would pat her on the head and say, "feel better?"
it comforted her in ways words never did. it made her want to stay with the other, for a long time.
