Ken's heartbeat rose as the long sleek military-style helicopter rose up into the air and began its journey northward to the nsa compound where Teruko had presumably been hidden. Dressed fully in black and with the silver fox earpi on his right ear and the paralysis gun clipped to his belt, Ken felt completely out of place. Opposite sat two swat team soldiers, also dressed in black body armour. However they carried semi automatic rifles. Their eyes focused elsewhere, Ken didnt bother to try and talk to them. It felt a bit awkward that these professional soldiers would be taking orders from him, but this was the situation he was in.

The helicopter veered to the left and Ken looked down at the lights below. Seeligh City was a massive place, full of high rise buildings as far as the eye could see. Even though it was something like two in the morning, the city below still hummed with activity, a hub or lights shining brightly below.

"The pilot will set you down about half a kilometer from the nsa compound." Ayaka said in his ear. "I'm still assessing which way we should try to attack from, but i'll be there to lead you the whole way, so don't worry."

Ken nodded. He was afraid of what would happen if they somehow lost communication, but there was no time to turn back now.

"Landing point up ahead."

The pilot suddenly spoke and the other two nodded their heads. Ken braced himself to jump. The helicopter began its descent down into a little park area and then hovered just abive the trees. The branches blew around feircly as the rotors hover right above them, and one of the swat soldiers picked up a rope and threw it over the side.

"Here." He passed a small clip to Ken and showed him how to attach it to his belt. Then he clipped it onto the rope and pulled the bottom piece up.

"Hold it like this."

Ken held it and then watched as the other one clipped himself to the rope and jumped out of the helicopter.

"Your turn, let's go."

Ken's eyes widened. He had never done something like this before in his life. But there was no time to argue. Frantically he pulled the rope up and then jumped out of the door.

Ken slid down the rope a little too fast for his comfort, but he reached the bottom safetly and deteched his belt. After the other soldier had made it down he followed them to hide in the trees as the helicopter rapidly ascended and then began flying away.

Ken took out his small handgun and looked at it. Immediately he noticed a small red dot on the ground indicating where it would hit if fired. However the technology to display the dot wasnt a laser fitted to the camera, it was an overlay to his holopane. Basically he could see it but nobody else could.

One of the soldiers tapped his shoulder. He put his finger to his mouth to indicate that he should be quiet and then waved his hand to indicate he should follow him. Ken nodded his head as he followed him among the trees. One of the squat members went ahead of him and the other took up the rear.

After they had walked a fair distance through side alleys and past office buildings Ayaka spoke into Ken's ear.

"Ken. I just discovered something."

"What is it?"

"Samantha's signal. It suddenly appeared on the map."

"Really? Where is she?"

"Inside, close to one of the side entries. It might be possible to get access to her location quite quickly."

"Lets try it." Ken said. "Having someone on our side might make it easier."
