One by one, the five sides fell onto the living room floor, in the Mind Palace. The portal that pushed them through dispersed into nothing once they all went through.

"Ugh, that definitely gave me a headache..." Virgil mumbled, holding his head as he sat up.

"What. Just. Happened-" Patton asked, scared and confused. He went over to Logan to make sure he was alright.

"Romulus is a major bitch, just a heads up," Janus said, sighing. "Him and Paranoia are quite a chaotic duo."

"Is Roman okay though?" Virgil asked, his eyes full of worry.

"I'm not sure, but I know he's not taking it well...There's no way he is..." Janus replied, looking at Virgil. His eyes then traveled over to Remus, who hadn't spoken, and his eyes widened a bit.

Remus hadn't moved. His eyes were closed and he was still. Thankfully, he was still breathing. Janus made his way over to him.

"Is he going to be alright?"

"Yes, he'll be fine, Patton. Making that portal took a big portion of his energy. Given the fact we weren't on his side of the Imagination, he had less strength to use his abilities. He just passed out due to exhaustion," Logan replied, his face emotionless as always.

"I'll take him up to his room. I'll be back," Janus said picking up Remus. He went to take him to his room, leaving Patton, Logan and Virgil alone.

"Virgil, I have a question."

"What's up, Specs?"

"When Paranoia took control of you back then, how were you feeling?" Logan asked. "Be specific."

Virgil looked down, trying to remember, since it's been so long. "Well, the reason it happened in the first place was because I was in my old room, in the Dark Scape. I got locked in, and wasn't able to teleport out, so it corrupted me so bad that Paranoia was able to control me...It was like...when I woke up, I wasn't in control of anything...I was there...but at the same time, I wasn't," he paused, sighing. "I kept screaming out to you guys it isn't me, but I knew you couldn't hear me...Paranoia tried many times to push me to his corner of the mind many times so I'd never be in control again, but I wouldn't let him... It was a living nightmare in the first place, all of it was...and the longer he was on control, the more I faded out. You guys got to me at the last minute, because I was barely there by that point."

Logan and Patton just stared at him in shocked silence. Virgil obviously seemed in pain by this, by mentioning how cruel Paranoia was to him... They can only imagine what Roman is going through...

"Hey, kiddo...it's okay...Paranoia isn't with you anymore..." Patton wrapped his arms around Virgil in an attempt to ease his mental pain. "And I swear to it that we'll get Roman back and stop this Romulus person..."

"Well, we can't really promise anything-"

"LOGAN. SHHHHH!!"

"Apologies."

Virgil smiled a bit at the two of them and hugged Patton back. "Thanks, Pat...you've just received the "Best Dad of The Year" award."

Patton giggled and hugged him tighter. Logan couldn't help but crack a smile, even if it was tiny.

Janus brought Remus to his room and lied him in his bed. He wasn't bothered by the creepiness of the Duke's room, for he lived with him for years. He was used to it all. He summoned a chair and sat next to the bed, smiling sadly at him.

Surely, all of this was rough on Remus. Years ago, when Romulus made his first appearance, Remus was the most affected by it... Even though the twins fought constantly and said they hate each other, they're brothers, and they really love each other, as brothers should. Remus would be up all night crying to himself, blaming only himself for Romulus taking over his brother. And one week, he even decided to not eat at all because he thought he didn't deserve food. Thankfully, Janus was able to get him to eat again soon.

Janus didn't know what was going on in Remus' mind at the time, but he hoped and prayed he'd be okay, with everything that's going on...

After a few hours, Janus fell asleep in his chair, his bowler hat had fell forward, on his face, as he slept. Remus woke up hours ago, but only pretended to sleep. He snapped a picture of the sleeping Snake Boi and sent it to everyone.

"I. Regret. Nothing."
