Virgil had been in his room, his headphones over his ears, blasting his edgy emo music as loud as he could. He would never do this in front of the others, but, when alone, he would blast his music, stand on top of his bed, mouthing the lyrics to the song as if he was singing it himself. He was in the moment as Wolf In Sheeps Clothing blasted in his ears. He had the whole thing memorized, and stood on his bed, not caring if it got messed up, not realizing he was actually singing along to it. His eyes were closed as he was in the moment.
Janus hurried to his room and knocked on the door, not receiving a response. "Virgil, open up! We have a problem!"
Patton and Logan were right behind Janus, as he already explained the situation to them. Remus came up a few seconds later, seeming a bit worried himself.
"Virgil, kiddo! Please answer!" Patton said, next to Janus now.
Logan just sighed and gently moved them out of the way. "It's just as easy..." he mumbled as he opened the door with ease.
"I mean, that works too," Janus said to himself as they walked in, seeing Virgil standing on his bed, singing at the top of his lungs. All the rooms are soundproof, so they didn't hear this until the door was open.
"Oh, it's that questionable music again," Logan said, taking a mental note.
When the song ended, Virgil opened his eyes, and nearly fell off his bed in shock at seeing all of them standing right there in his door way. He yelped as he lost his balance, and then eventually did fall off his bed, landing on his back. "Ow.."
"Kiddo! Are you okay?!" Patton asked, rushing over to his emo son. He quickly helped him up, exchanging worried looks with the others.
"I'm good, Pat..." he mumbled, his cheeks flushing in embarrassment. "How much of that did you hear?"
"Only all of it," Janus said, chuckling a bit. Remus ran over and sat next to Virgil, putting his arms around him out of context.
"Uh. What are you doing?" Virgil asked, not moving. He just looked at Remus with a confused look.
"Stealing Roman's man."
"W h a t?" Virgil's whole face lit up bright red. "Remus I'm going to kill you if you don't shut up- but speaking of, where is Princey?"
"That's what we wanted to talk to you about..." Janus said, looking at him seriously.
"He went to the Imagination..." Logan started, but Virgil cut him off.
"How is that bad? He always goes there to fight the Dragon Witch or, whatever..."
"Let me finish...He didn't bring his sword with him. And if he goes to the Imagination, he always brings it with him..."
Virgil looked Logan in the eyes for a moment, in deep thought. "So...you think someone kidnapped- er- prince-napped him?"
The four nodded to his response in silence.
Virgil shot up off the bed, Remus letting go of him. His eyes look more panicked than usual. "THEN WHY ARE WE JUST STANDING HERE LIKE IDIOTS? LET'S GO GET HIM BACK!"
"Ow, my ears-" Janus mumbled at the sudden screeching. "We can't just barge into the Imagination blind. We need to form a sort of plan."
"Janus is right," Logan said, taking the lead. "As we all know, the Imagination can vary and change whenever or however Remus and Roman want to-"
"Then shouldn't Roman be safe? Since he can change the Imagination around and make everything work the way he wants it to?" Virgil asked quizzically.
