Adrian barely managed to get out of the rubble that used to be the castle. He couldn't find Virgilius anywhere... So he went off on his own.
His clothes were torn and burnt, and his hair was a hot mess. He limped outside, shielding his eyes from the wretched sun blazing down on him.
He saw the group from afar and made a face of disgust at them. "Complete idiots..."
Roman caught sight of him and walked up to him, kind of staring at him. "Well Adrian, you better have one hell of an excuse for all you did."
"Go to hell you pompous bitch," Adrian said, his voice cracking a little due to a dry mouth. He just glared at the prince.
Roman decided to play along a little, kind of finding this amusing. "Oh, I just got back. But I think you belong there. You'd fit in just fine."
Adrian tried to punch him, but due to his weakened state, Roman was able to easily grab his wrist and keep him from punching him.
"Let go of me you little fucker.."
"Then leave. You're no longer allowed in the Imagination. Neither is Nightmare Fuel, over there," he stared at Virgilius, who had gotten out from under the rubble. He wasn't harmed like Adrian, and was just dusting himself off.
"Make me, you bitch," Adrian growled back.
"Alright then," he summoned a portal. This portal led to the dark corners of the mind. Basically a place for banishment... Roman grabbed Adrian and shoved him through the portal, closing it before he could escape.
Paranoia saw the six of them and smirked, walking over. "Do you really think it's gonna be that easy to get rid of me?"
Janus stepped up beside Roman. "I suggest you leave as well...otherwise Roman will banish you too..."
Virgilius just let out a laugh, clearly amused. "Ah, you've never changed, Janus. Why don't you bring Damian here so I can say hi?" He smirks.
Janus's eyes widen. "Never say that name again..."
Virgilius took that as a challenge. "You know..I've known Damian for most of my life..A true master of deception. And then there's you. Honesty." He paused. "Why don't we just...bring him here...?"
Roman took out his sword. Another portal to banishment appeared. "Get in before I force you in.."
"No, how about you go away once and for all," Virgilius growled, shoving Roman in the portal. Before it closed, Janus grabbed his hand, halfway through said portal.
Janus saw Roman was dangling off a type of cliff. Pitch black darkness was underneath him. Once you hit the bottom, you became a lost side. A forgotten part of yourself...
Roman was loosing his grip on Janus's hand. Fast.
"Roman! You gotta try and pull yourself up!" Janus yelled to him, not letting go of his hand.
Roman dropped his sword. It plummeted down into the darkness, but he didn't care about that at the moment. He tried to pull himself up, but it was no use...
"...I have to let go!" Roman said back to him.
Janus shook his head violently. "No! You can't! I'm not letting you! Roman..in your letter...I forgive you! And I hope you can forgive me too..I want to be your friend! I can't loose you now..we all need you! Thomas needs you! Virgil needs you! ..I need you.. I am /not/ letting go!!" Janus pulled with all of his might, a determined look in his eyes. They were almost out of the portal.
That is until Virgilius shoved Janus through the portal as well...
There were screams. Loud screams.. The rest of the group was calling their names, fear, terror, hurt in their voices.
The two of them fell down..and down...and down...
Until darkness enveloped them both.
