Chapter 12

Kaga POV:

I got home after walking my gorgeous Oka-Senpai back home. However, I have a lot on my mind. I almost have enough on my mind to forget about my gorgeous Oka-senpai, almost being the keyword. I throw my backpack on my couch with little care in the world. I walked to the door to my basement and turned the metal doorknob. I do have some homework to do but I breeze through my homework. Tonight will be no different. I open the door slowly, the cool basement air surrounded me. As I started to walk down the wooden stairs I reached out and flipped the light switch. The shadows that had been ruling the basement retreated in the face of the illuminating glow. I slowly descended the stairs. Much of the tools and machinery that I use to create some of my scientific experiments sit down here. The basement is crammed full of stuff of all type, description, and quality.

I approach an old stained workbench. This is where I work on all of my latest gadgets, gizmos, and other high-tech apparatuses. On the bench is my newest project. It is a weapon, a weapon capable of killing a person in a multitude of bloody and gruesome ways. Its metal build shines in the fluorescent lighting of the basement. Its saw blades are sharp and serrated and can cause very nasty injuries to human flesh. I have been designing this weapon ever since it became apparent that I might have to kill Budo. However, technical difficulties with the design interfered with the design's ability to become operational in time. I was forced to eliminate Budo peacefully and this weapon was put on the backburner. However, I figured out what I was doing wrong and fixed it soon afterward. Since then, I have made slow but steady progress on the design. With Raibaru stalking me, I need to speed up the design of it, just in case, I have to use it. It is almost complete already. Only a few more things need to be modified and I can begin testing it out. I put on some plastic safety glasses and get to work. What is this weapon that I am working on you ask? Well, dear friend, you will just have to find out. Trust me, it will be well worth the wait.
