[Season 3] Fantastic Aqua

My face turned beet red, unsure whether what happened last night was a mistake or a gift from the gods, or a gift from Aqua since she was a goddess. Speaking of gods and goddesses, Aqua was sitting next to me at the dinner table equally embarrassed, refusing to talk about whatever it is happened last night.

The words "But it was just a kiss" constantly repeated in my head. Was it just a kiss? Or did it mean more? I still questioned it all.

Kazuma: "Oi!"

Aqua: "Y-Yes?!"

Kazuma: "What are you two doing? You guys been quiet ever since last night."

Darkness: "Maybe... maybe they did something they regret doing! Something dirty and unspeakable... something naughty! Maybe Y/N pinned Aqua against the wall and—"

Y/N: "None of that! None of that!"

Aqua stood up, taking in a deep breath, then letting it all out.

Aqua: "I must go work, have a great day!"

Y/N: "Wait, you work?"

Aqua: "I do now! Goodbye!"

The goddess ran as fast as she could out of that mansion, which made me wonder if she really did have a job or she just wanted to take a breather. Maybe it was both. It didn't matter, because right now... you were hungry.

Y/N: "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse right now."

Megumin: "Y/N, that's cruel."

Y/N: "I didn't mean it!"

As I walked around town, I came across a certain goddess offering her help in selling fruits at a stand. Not many people were paying any attention to her though, which explained why she seemed so angry.

I walked over just to check what she was doing, and once she saw me, she panicked and tried to find the best way to run away.

Y/N: "Hey Aqua, can I—?"

Aqua: "Wow, look at the time! I gotta get going bye!"

The goddess ran away, leaving a trail of dust behind her as she left the area. I didn't know whether I should follow her or stay behind, but that's when I heard something, or someone, calling out to me.

"Psst! Hey!"

I looked over and saw Chris hiding in one of the narrow alleyways of the town, so I went over there and I snuck in there, looking at the goddess in disguise, Eris.

Y/N: "Hey Chris, it's been a while."

Chris: "I saw what happened, and you know, that didn't look very good. What's going on?"

Y/N: "Well, I... kissed? Yeah, I kissed Aqua last night."

Chris: "You kissed her?!"

Chris jumped up when hearing those words come out of my mouth, feeling completely shocked and maybe even just a bit jealous that her peer managed to get me first.

Y/N: "Keep it down! Yeah, I did. She's been avoiding me ever since and I don't know what to do. What's up with you?"

Chris: "I'm here to help."

Y/N: "How?"

Chris: "You know how. I know Aqua."

Y/N: "Oh yeah, any advice?"

Chris: "Lemme see..."

Chris started thinking, her hand on her chin as she leaned against the wall. When she came up with an idea, she made an "OOH" sound.
