A Dangerous Secret Revealed

Chapter 11

I woke up to a sound of a dragon, a bear, and a lion roaring. Loud. What...? Yeah, it turns out the roaring was just the wake-up call.
Like, who uses that to wake people up?! Why not just knock on the door or to some other stuff? Don't they know that people could even die of shock?!
Eventually, the roaring stopped. Yawning, I got out of bed and looked at Joan. She's still sleeping. What. How can she NOT wake up?!

"Joan! Dude, wake up!" I yelled at her ear.
"Yeah, yeah. Gimme five minutes and..." She mumbled sleepily and went back to sleep. Hm. I know one thing that could wake her up right away. I walked to the bathroom and poured freezing cold water in a glass.
Kneeling on the floor beside her bed, I grabbed her arm and dipped her hand in the water.

"GAHH!" She immediately opened her eyes and was out of her bed. "WHAT is wrong with you!!"
"Nothing. I'm just going to take a bath. Don't you dare go back to sleep or I'll do it again" I threatened.
"I won't. Cross my heart, hope to die." Pft, liar.

Even the bathroom is so big, like a five-star hotel bathroom. My life will be awesome if I stay in this mansion forever.
After taking a bath and putting on my clothes, I went out and saw Joan sleeping. Again. I dipped her hand again and she did the same reaction.

"Stop doing that!!" She shouted.
"Then get out of bed because we only have 25 minutes to get ready. No, YOU need to get ready."
"Fine fine," She grumbled and went to the bathroom to take a bath.

I rememebered about the bracelet and contacted Mom. Is it too early? Nah, she wakes up early. I waited for her to answer. The gem just kept glowing and glowing, and finally it stopped and Mom's face appeared.

"Hey, Cath, how's it going there? Is it nice? Tell me."
"Mom, it's awesome! It's not some dormatory like Takinyos and Superhereos, it turns out that Fattees are separated from them. And we ended up in a mansion!! Like, it's so big! And the food is amazing!"
"That's good to hear. Did you find the wand in your luggage? How about your clothes? Did I miss anything?"
"Yeah, wand's here. My clothes are complete."
"Okay. Is it your breakfast time? Why are you calling so early?"
"6:00 is our breakfast. I called early cause the wake-up call scared me to death."
"What do you mean?"
"Mom. The wake-up call is a dragon, a bear, and a lion roaring loudly!"
"Oh, well you should get used to it. Where's Joan?"
"She's my roomate. She's taking a bath."
"Oh."

The bathroom door opened and Joan appeared.

"Bye Mom, it's almost 6:00."
"Okay, bye."

Joan dried her hair for a few minutes and there was a knocking at the door.

"Breakfast is ready! Are you done?"
"Yes." I yelled.
"Okay, well I must show you the way. You might get lost."
"Right. Ha-ha."

The dining hall's table was full of delicious food. Cereal, eggs, bacon, milk, hashbrowns, it's like a buffet!
I sat down beside Joan and Lois.

"Hey, Cath. Did you hear the wake-up call?" Lois asked me.
"Oh, yah! It was so loud! Is it always like that?"
"Oh, no. It changes everyday. Yesterday's was a loud scream of a tortured baby."
My eyes widened.
"Yeah, I know right."

"Kids, is breakfast too early for you? Do you want to change it to 7:00 then training starts at 8:00 tomorrow? Because I think most of you don't sleep early."
We all nodded.
"Okay, but for today, it will be 7:00."
"Uh Amira, what time does training end? And when will we study?"
"Training ends at 10:00." She said,"Ezra, Angelo, Rafael, and Vincent will be the ones to teach you your lessons. Right?"
The four men wearing black nodded. Oh so that are their names. But who is who? I guess I'll find out later.
"Oh, so who is my teacher?"
Amira shrugged,"I don't know. Mr. Butterman, please give me the file so I will see. There will be an extra teacher, though, because Joan is the same age as Catherine."

Mr.Buttermans went to get the file and handed it to Amira.
"Steffi's teacher is Ezra. Joan and Catherine's teacher is Rafael." She read,"Lois's teacher is Angelo. Vincent, you are an extra. Lucky."
Okay.

After breakfast, Amira announced,"Training time. Follow me."
