My alarm clock rang and I immediately shut it off,I groaned as i rubbed my eyes.I sat up and blindly grabbed my glasses off my nightstand,I put them on and got out of bed.after getting out of bed I opened my record player and took out a twisted sister record,I put it in the player and it immediately began to play We're Not Gonna Take It(my favorite Twisted Sister song).i put on my favorite red sweater,some ripped jeans,and black boots(along with some miss match socks).i brushed my hair and put it in a messy bun,I sighed and I grabbed my backpack.today was my first day in my new school:San Dimas High School.
Every since we moved to San Dimas,California for my dad's new job everyone in my family quickly adapted to our new home:but not me.as I got on the bus to school I immediately sat in the back of the bus,I sighed and looked out the window."hi!"a girl said,I turned around and saw her.it looked like she just moved to the back of the bus,she looked so nice and popular."um hi."i said,she sat next to me."I'm Mel,you must be Sarah Lynn:the new girl!"she introduced herself,"y-yep,that's me-"she cut me off."Oh.my.gosh.is that a picture of Twisted Sister on your binder?"she asked,pointing at my binder."Um,yeah.They're my favorite band."i said,"mine too!"she said.
She gasped,"I know a band you'd really like!"she said.she dug into her backpack."did I just befriend a popular girl?"I thought.she pulled out a cassette tape labeled,"WYLD STALLYNS"she handed it to me."they're in this school,and their music is really good!or as they would say,excellent!"she said as I took it,"t-thanks,no one's ever been this nice to me."I admitted.the bus stopped at the school,we both stood up."Well everyone deserves a friend,come on!"she said,she grabbed my hand as we got off the bus.we walked towards the front of the school,"You'll love it here!"she said.
