"What is wrong with you!" A yell was was heard throughout the hallway grabbing everyone's attention
"For God sake this again, Daehwi this isn't even the first time just let it go" Seungmin said trying to hold Daehwi back from lashing out
"And besides, what's the point of getting angry when it's just an accident " Lia silently said before earning a glare from the angry boy
"Well it wasn't an accident before right? Last time papers was not enough so this time my clothes" he said which makes the two girls walk down the memory lane
"Look, that was three years ago why are you Still mad at her" Lia said, and surprisingly she was the one talking for Yeon, considering the fact that she's really shy
"Because she ruined my future!" He continues to argue as Seungmin tries his hardest to hold him back because anytime soon this boy won't hesitate to throw hands
"But you can still study though" Lia said not wanting to sound that savage but that really came out wrong, making everyone in the hallway stop from moving and stay silent. They knew shit's about to go down.
Daehwi is known for being kind and gentle but also everyone knew that he won't back down once he thinks you are insulting him, or worse if he thinks of you as an enemy.
But of course knowing a kind and Considerate girl Yeon is, before Daehwi can start bombarding Lia with words she drag her out of the scene and proceed to head towards the tree by the garden of the school. Finally a quiet place...
"Peace and quiet" Yeon said before sighing
"Sorry about the scene, i just can't stand him still blaming and hating you. You know we can always tell him it was me-"
"Lia no, we promise to just forget that and let him think what he wants to think. We don't know if he'll believe us anyway. And the hate his throwing at me? I'm used to it by now" Yeon Said convincing her best friend before she can think of another stupid idea.
Why a stupid idea? Because they already tried it before when Lia managed to convince Yeon. But what happen is Daewhi almost having a diss battle with Lia or more like Daewhi embarrassing Lia in public, good thing is Yeon was there to drag Lia out like today.
"You are used to it, but i'm sure it still hurts you" Lia said stating the obvious.
Yeon know that she can always defend herself, everyone knew that but when it was Daehwi trying to get in her nerves, she'll became really speechless because she was too focused in the pain which of course Lia always noticed, she was her best friend after all.
"You know you can't lie to me, and deny the obvious" Lia said making it hard for Yeon to deny it all. And how can she even lie about it her friend knew that she likes Daehwi since 7th grade.
So without any arguments she sighed and look at Lia "It does hurts but it'll be better if we just avoid having fights with him" she said but Lia won't buy this
"Avoid fights? How exactly will we avoid fights when you two are always fighting for number one, or what about the position of homeroom president or those times when we need representatives in school quizzes and girl let's not forget the fact that he is always ready to fight you no matter what time or where we are" Lia said while counting it off on her fingers
"How I hate it when you are right" Yeon said and Lia immediately smack her arms, but not that hard
"Because you won't admit the obvious!" She said ready to have a round two in proving that her best friend is just in-denial
"Fine" Yeon said agreeing to her as if she have any choice anyway
"Wait a minute" Lia said and here we go again
"What is it this time" Yeon said as she placed her head on the table with no support from the arms at all
"First of all that is weird and second of all what the freak is wrong with your brother" she said but Yeon just sighed
"Lia you have to stop asking me that, you've been questioning my brother since the past few years already" she said but of course Lia is ready to answer
"I mean who becomes best friend with someone mad at your sister right? And what makes it crazy is when you and Daewhi fight like old people he don't know which side to be in, like you are the sister, hello?" She said which really is odd
But this is the new normal for everyone to be honest. Yeon and Daehwi will fight Jisung will be confused in which to side with, Lia and Seungmin will both try to hold the two back and as for the classmates? They just sit at their chairs looking at the two even the teachers are tired of this shit
"Tell me something new Instead, this an old issue I am not dealing with it anymore, he might be my brother but Daehwi is also his best friend both are special to him so I won't blame him" she said
"Are you just saying that because you like Daehwi or are you really serious" Lia asked her not knowing what her friend is trying to say right now
"To be honest, i don't know" Yeon admitted making Lia sigh, frustrated and sad for her best friend
"You know let's just go back To class" she said before standing up
"And what? Give the teachers another head ache? To be honest I am starting to question why you and Daewhi are always at the top of the class with all the trouble you've both caused" Lia said
"Girl are you really my friend or what?" She asked
"Of course I am, was just asking don't sulk" she replied before wrapping her arms around Yeon's shoulder as They walk off
