"Sorry if i can only visit you today...... after 3 years" Yeon said after Mrs. Lee and her broke apart from the hug
"Why did it even took you three years to come back, you know you are always welcome here, aigo how I miss you" she said before hugging the girl again, and good thing she did because if she didn't what would Yeon tell the lady.
She feel really bad for Mrs. Lee because she has no idea to what happened 3 years ago, but at the same time she can't tell nor explain things too. So no matter how much she say that Yeon was always welcome on their home, will Daehwi welcome her the same way he did before?
"Come take a seat, we have a lot of catching up to do" Mrs. Lee said as she drag the girl to the living room where her son is. She let Yeon take a seat beside her before looking up to Daehwi.
"What are you doing standing there? Go get some drink for your visitor" she said making the latter roll his eyes in annoyance, not because of her mother but because of Yeon who seems comfortable in his own home.
"We're not here for chit chat mom, we need to discuss something about our project" he said making the lady frown while Yeon only gave her an apologetic smile
"No need to be mean, what's with you today?" Mrs. Lee said before standing up
"It's nothing, let's go" the latter said before walking ahead.
Soon Yeon also stood up, giving one last hug to the lady before following Daehwi upstairs. Even though Daehwi told her not to look around she can't help but do so. The stairs where they use to run at when they race up to his room or the pictures that hung on the walls that they always make fun of never changed at all. Nothing ever did and she can't help but reminisce some moments in the past.
Meanwhile, when the latter didn't saw Yeon at his room within two minutes he head out only to see her looking around while in the stairs. Yeon was so into it that Daehwi have to snap her out of it.
He clears his throat before speaking "No looking around, so get yourself inside my room" He said making the girl look at him before rushing towards where Daehwi is.
Once she entered the room, Daehwi closed the door before sitting at his bed and watching the girl's every move. Yeon placed her bag on the chair by Daehwi's desk then proceed to looking at the boy as if asking to what will she do next.
"You'll seat at the carpet and i'll stay here in my bed, we must maintain one meter distance" He said once he figured out what the girl's stare means. And Yeon swear this boy really like social distancing
Yeon sighed before doing as what she's told, she sat at the carpet but of course because of the short skirt, she had troubles doing so. Daehwi grown in annoyance before throwing a blanket at the girl which took her by surprise making her look at the latter
"Shut up and sit Down" he said before Yeon can say anything
Again she followed what she's told and now she can sit without anything bothering her. Daehwi crossed his arms ready to speak but then the door opened without any knock or warning startling the two
"Kids have some snacks!" Mrs. Lee said while holding a plate of sliced fruits making Daehwi dropped to his bed and Yeon smile once the two realized it's just the lady
"Mom it hasn't been an hour and you're already offering food? And can you knock on the door next time? I almost have an heart attack because of you" Daehwi said after sitting up and the lady just rolled her eyes like how the boy did it earlier in the living room leaving him speechless
"Why are you two a meter apart? Aren't you suppose to be a lot closer than these? Are you guys practicing social distancing or what" She said with a playful smile as she put the plate at Daehwi's desk
"Mom can you let us discuss please, you and Yeon can talk later" Daehwi said not aware of what he just drag himself into
"A dinner with Yeon it is" she said as she went to the door with happy steps
"Wait what, mom no!" Daehwi yelled when he realized but Mrs. Lee is not having any of this shit
"Goodbye~ i'll just be at the kitchen cooking some delicious food, call me if you need anything toodles" she said before closing the door
"Just what the hell happened" Daehwi said and Yeon smiled making the boy annoyed once again
"What are you smiling at, you are going to decline the offer" he said but the girl only smiled wider
"But you said only if Mrs. Lee offered it, this time it was you who kind of did so what can i say? Rules are rules you don't have any say about this" Yeon said and Daehwi groaned in annoyance
"I was tricked, okay!" He shouted but the girl decided to be stubborn today
"Not my problem though" she mumbled but the boy heard it
"Ugh, I hate you!" He yelled before looking away making the smile of the girl falter
"I know" she mumbles again but this time she make sure that the boy won't hear it, or did he
"Whatever, let's just get this over with, what song are we going to perform" Daehwi said with a stern face
"I don't know, I'm sure you won't even like or consider my decision over this, so why bother ask" she said which makes a lot of sense, but the reason why he asked is he wants to know something
"Try me" he said confusing the girl but she did still answered
"Hide and Seek" she simply said making the boy satisfied, same song as before.
"Then hide and Seek it is" he said before taking out a paper and pen to plan the distribution of lyrics
